This is a great signing the bastards
I just checked it's 8 open play goals and 11 pens
That's an awful return at that level for the money they spent no matter how you try and spin it

There’s not many guaranteed 3 points in the league any more. Everyone is recruiting smartly these days.

Sheffield Wednesday and Hull aren’t…
This is true - I even fear for our bi-annual Middlesbrough roll-overThere’s not many guaranteed 3 points in the league any more. Everyone is recruiting smartly these days.
If you spent 15m on a player and he returned 8 open play goals in league 1 would you be impressed? He can't control that. It's bizarre that's the point you're pushing. His numbers last season also aren't really that awful and you can't just discount pens to suit your argument.
The season prior in the Championship he scored 13 goals in open play.
its both a good league and also when the fixtures came out i got a sense of optimism because there were no names that i was overly concerned about (bar the relegated teams)It's a good league.
Yeah they are a few years behind in YorkshireSheffield Wednesday and Hull aren’t…
He’s a very good defenderNeumann is a 27 year old who's whole career has been in Bundesliga 2.
Is he?He’s a very good defender![]()

Are they in fresh hand's now?Genuinely stunned by this signing for Norwich. Very very good striker and a rumoured fee of £12million!
Apparently turned down Lens who finished 8th in Ligue 1 last season.
USA owners, Delia long gone. Are they in fresh hand's now?
Yep - they are pissing me off.I hope Blues blow up big time, sick of their fans already, a few I work with think they have the league sown up already.
Way they've done that makes him sound like some kind of waste removal kingpin.

They massively overspent on him it's not bizarre it's fact. 13 goals in the championship is still not worth what they spent either.
19 goals, of which 10 were penalties.Wasn't it 10 open league goals from open play?
They certainly overspent, but once again, as a player he can't control the fee that's spent on him.
I'm not saying he shouldn't have done better last season that's undeniable, and I've already pointed to his drop off in form at the back end of the campaign, but scratching off goals (he scored another 5 from open play last season in cup comps for both Fulham and Brum) as well as penalties is a feeble way to prove a point to be honest.
He's a decent player and is still relatively young so has plenty of room to develop. If you don't agree, I don't particularly care.
