Spending £1m for a loan player in January is mental.
BBC reporting that the embargo is because they failed to pay money to other clubs for recent transfers. Weren't there some on here saying that we actually got a fee for Kasey Palmer, if so we could be 1 of the clubs they owe money to 🤔

I really hope Birmingham completely fall apart this season their fans are so annoying 😒

It’s funny because I honestly think they will struggle this season.

The delusion from their fan base is unbearable, they seem to forget the Same owner who they all think is the lord saviour Jesus Christ is the guy that sacked Eustace when they were in the play offs and brought in Wayne Rooney.

I thought he was a freebie just to get him off the wagebill?

He scored 6 outfield goals last season.

Not being funny but for the money they spent in that league you would be expecting a return of 40 odd

I think Fulham had their pants down 5m is his real value at most

I think that's a bit naive really. The pressure that kind of fee would've placed on him would've been extortionately heavy, especially at a relatively young age.

I can't be bothered to corroborate your first point, I'm almost certainly sure it's wrong though. Granted I wouldn't say he had an incredible season last season not helped by the fact that he tailed off hugely at the end but he has a lot of ability nonetheless.

as the person here who has watched Kyogo the most he does miss a lot of chances, he's good but he scored a lot because he got loads of chances

he can score wonder goals but will be get as many chances at blues?

they'll do alright this year, top 6 if they do well

A lot on here yesterday cautious about signing a 24 year old who's scoring for fun in Belgium and now we have people getting over excited about Blues signing a 30 yr old who's only ever scored at a decent rate in the JLeague and the SPL.
We'll make much smarter signings than them. Not too bothered about anyone they've brought in tbh. Keep doing our own thing.

Kyogo is a class signing at this level, lets not get it twisted.

if the fee is 5m Rennes are taking a 50% cut in 6 momths

Its dangerous spending big on players from the SPL, you just don't know. The best you can do is watch how they get on in the European competition but they get challenged so few times in a season it's really hard to judge.

I just checked it's 8 open play goals and 11 pens

That's an awful return at that level for the money they spent no matter how you try and spin it

We only know about players in Scotland because it happens to be directly above us. It's absolute horse shit.
I'll take my chances with the Belgian all day.
I mean i've only watch loads of games he played in so what do I know.

he's got ability but is 30 and is being punted at a 50% loss 6 months after signing by a not great french team

Stansfield on his U21 is a better option to be fair.

Obviously if you watch it but I mean generally, people in England who don't support a second team (usually Old Firm) only know anything about it because it's right there. I doubt Europeans know anything at all about it and the standard seems to get worse every year. Even Rangers are wank these days.

They will be in and amongst it this year, they wouldn’t have gone down without the Rooney debacle. They’ve got a lot stronger since then and they will be throwing a lot of money about this Summer.
