Thinking about Birmingham and Wrexham, I read that Liverpool received £180 million for winning the Prem and a further £700 million? for commercial activities. This was explaining why despite having an enormous spend on new recruits, they are not breaking the profitability rules. The Sky TV money is set at £25 million so a lot must be coming from elsewhere. Said their shirt deal is about to come in at £60 million. The article was in the Times so maybe a misprint. If not, how on earth can they earn that much in a season?
This begs the question how much do we make considering we do not own the ground and have very little profile around the world.
Anyone out there can explain this and how much we generate compared with the evil two above.
