Ten days before the season starts they have no manager, coaches or backroom staff and can only field a first 11 the majority of which are the youth team. They also have the North stand closed because it has structural issues and needs urgent work so the safety certificate has been revoked which seats a lot of those who purchased a st.

feel sorry for their fans but jesus what a basket case and cant see them getting out of this with their corrupt owner who has stated he will not be funding the club anymore or paying the wages outstanding to players and staff.

yet again its the fans and community that suffers whilst the FA fail to do their job again when it comes to overseas owners.

typical that their first game is against Leicester

Be ause Leicester who seem to have nine lives now get the easiest first game of the season that anyone could wish for when Sheffield may not even be able to field eleven professional players

You lot do make me laugh. Every time I post something you always respond, that’s why I am still here. I am never on the wind up.

Will congratulate you when you go up too. Some of you take it to heart ⚽️🦊

Absolutely no chance Sheff Wednesday are staying up this season, even if a takeover happens in the next couple of weeks.

One of the stands at Hillsborough has been closed as well. Chansiri got a company in Bangkok who never flew out to see the stadium to do the health and safety check 😂

Also, Wrexham are at it again. £7m bid for Nathan Broadhead, Ipswich’s 6th choice winger.
If only we could go for it like them Broadhead would be a great signing

Broadhead was left out of Ipswich's friendly tonight. Wrecsam are favourites to sign him. Boy are they going full on. Could be pushing for playoffs if they get a couple of central defenders as well.

I would expect both Birmingham and Wrexham to be challenging for the play-offs to be honest. They clearly both have the cash to compete and Wrexham at least certainly don't seem to struggle to attract players to the 'project'. Wrexham sticking around in this league for a few years might be beneficial for everyone to be honest. Their documentary is massive in America and if they can increase interest in the league it may result in some bigger international TV deals.
