Maybe Wolves can change their mind last second, MR buggers off to Wolves and RE gets sack for being a snake then the icing on the cake.... A inbred point deduction

Why not? You think 8pts is insurmountable or you don't like their squad?

New manager bounce and that gap could be down to 3 or 4 within a month

Saying that I'm with the other poster through who said thinks Edwards is a bit overrated although he is doing a good job at the mo tbf

Problem is that the players are shit.

Lol fair enough

Not saying I think they will survive just don't think it's a foregone conclusion so could understand Edwards taking the job

And a fuck ton of cash of course.

Probably the biggest factor.

I think Boro will bounce back stronger from this - I don't really rate Edwards and they have won 2 in 8 and arguably peaked under him

At Luton, I think as much as he is a nob - Nathan Jones built a side that had been together for a few years and were so well drilled in what they did, it was a favourable job for any manager to take, Premier League they were arguably unlucky but his attempt at rebuilding them last season was an absolute disaster and probably the reason why they went down

Edwards is local to Wolves and did spend a few years there

I can only assume he’s doing that because he considers Wolves to be his team

Any other reason is madness. Boro probably have a better chance of being in the PL than Wolves

Any Wolves announcement for Robins would have involve him celebrating in front of the ball boy.

A magnificent moment from our recent history.

As much for the po-faced sanctimony that it elicited from O'Neil, the contemptible bell.

Not my neck of the woods, you might know better?

Do Pompey and Saints genuinely consider Bournemouth a serious rival?

Bournemouth see Southampton as their 'rivals' but it's not especially reciprocated.

That was for racism, wasn't it?

Also the same bloke who got a similar length ban for biting.

What a signing.

This one is only banned on the balance of probability, no evidence. Really pleased he'll miss our game but this is a very dangerous road to go down and a slippery slope of justice. Racism definitely needs stamping out of the game as we saw with Kasey, but not sure how one word against another can be proven either way. It was also Hannibal which makes me even more untrusting of his word than I would normally be. However with this guy having previous for biting, I'm not sure I have much sympathy with him either way.

Fairly sure it’s the same as when John Terry got done for racism against Anton Ferdinand. It’s not a court of law, after all.

They also like a big name like Lampard. We are getting plenty of coverage on Sky.

In fairness, we got quite a bit of coverage under Robins when we were marching up the table. It’s difficult to schedule teams in who are doing poor leading up to the New Year, which was the case over the last 3 seasons. We only got more games on Sky last season when we were in the playoff picture. That’s how it felt to me.

Lampard seems to do a lot more interviews at various outlets but he is more comfortable and warmer to the media than Robins ever was. Robins cuts a much more reserved figure compared to Lampard. Did MR ever do the fist pump to the fans after a big win?
