In seemingly another thing falling our way this season it looks like Edwards to Wolves has legs...

Was just about to post about this. Seems to be gathering noise and momentum. As a Cov fan I hope he does, as a football fan I hope he’s not that stupid.

Watching the other teams here are a couple players I’d love to poach in Jan if we are in the same position now:

Josh Sargent - ST - Norwich
Jason Knight - DM - Bristol City
Imran Louza - DM - Watford
Giorgi Chakvatadze - AM - Watford
Femi Azeez - RW - Milwall
Those are the only ones I’d have and they’d cost a bomb.

If any I’d go for Chakavatadze who I think has a release clause.

When the fuck are Leicester going to get a points deduction - the longer it goes on the more I can smell a rat of getting away with it ! Poor from the efl
They could well be waiting to see how the season goes for them so the deduction can materially impact them even following any appeal.

had a look around online, most reports have a lot of 'could' and 'may be' as to timing and scale of punishment.

Also found this on one of their blogs- turns out they've just been unlucky:

'There are still no evidence Leicester have breached any PSR rules. They can potentially go free. They could also be deducted. So far, no one knows. Spreading rumours and assumptions is so wrong. This is especially true if you will be taken seriously long term. Several unfortunate situations contributed to this outcome. However, there were still a lot to look at with positive eyes.'

Josh Sargent has already played a full season in the PL and was rubbish.
I didn't name him tbf but i would say he was young and he's done enough in The Championship to potentially deserve another shot. At the age Sargent was playing in Prem, Haji was scoring 0 goals for VVV-Venlo, so i don't think it would be fair to judge based on that.

Wolves are doomed this season whoever they get. If I was Edwards Id stay at Boro. Unless its a huge wage increase and he ain't arsed

The football fan would hope he sees out the job he [might have] started with Boro. Like would Lampard try and finish what he’s got going here if someone with deeper pockets on a more negative trajectory approached him. You don’t know people do you.

According to some outlets Edwards is in line for the Wolves job and Mckenna is interested in the Celtic job, obviously could be all nonsense but it would be a big blow to both Boro and Ipswich, just more things going our way this year

Edwards would be mental to go there now, real Mick Beale QPR-Rangers vibes.

But it's football, he will be offered a lot more money, closer to home and old connection + will back himself. Be gutted if was boro fan.

BBC reporting Edwards about to be approached...hilarious if true...will probably scupper their chances of promotion (fingers crossed).
Find it bizarre that it says Gary O'Neil was their first choice considering how unpopular he was when he left.

I don't get the demand for Rob Edwards. He's had a very poor record apart from 6 months at Luton with a team he inherited and then effectively got hatters relegated through 2 divisions.
Promising start at Mboro but have stumbled a bit lately.
