Why not? You think 8pts is insurmountable or you don't like their squad?

New manager bounce and that gap could be down to 3 or 4 within a month

Saying that I'm with the other poster through who said thinks Edwards is a bit overrated although he is doing a good job at the mo tbf
No doubt Adi would go with him

I used to like Prolapse and the Princess Charlotte was a fantastic venue many years ago. Not much of a musical legacy though apart from that Crusty period with Pop Will Eat Itself and Crazyhead which is best forgotten.
Kasabian?
Used to like the Cooler until it was sold to Adrian Mole

There not doomed though are they? Even under pererria they didn't actual play as bad as a team you would expect would play when not won a game all season

He did his badges at wolves. It might be a good move for him if he keeps them up and if he doesn't there a club with more money than Boro anyway to bounce back
I dont think they will get over 15 points this season

Stolen from the Stoke forum, last time each of the current top 11 were in the top flight...

Cov City 2001
Stoke 2018
Mboro 2017
Preston 1961
Millwall 1990
Charlton 2007
Bristol C 1980
Hull City 2017
Brum C. 2012
Ipswich 2025
Derby C. 2008
I doubt many Preston fans remember 1961. :giggle:

There's no way he keeps them up.
It's a bizarre appointment

He's both failed to keep Luton up after a better start than Wolves had, and, failed to get them promoted at the first chance. Luton were only promoted because they were horrible to play against and that's all down to Nathan Jones. Edwards started to try and undo that and the rest is history....

Their squad is shite, theres major behind the scenes issues, the owner refuses to put in any money and they are 8 points adrift. I think thats good enough reason.

We did sniff around in the summer so you'd have to assume that he was offered more there or didn't fancy the offer overall, but he was getting much playing time last year.

If we're talking generic indie bands from the era, Kasabian (Leicester) are better than The Enemy to be honest. WLADITT does work brilliantly as a club anthem though and the band owe the geezer who starting playing it more than a few pints.

One of my favourite bands are from Leicester: Diesel Park West. Listen to Shakespeare Alabama if you ever get chance. Fabulous.

Interesting...Edward's routine, pre match, Friday press conference cancelled.
He'd be a fool to leave, but intelligence doesn't come into it.
He's resurrected his managerial career at M'bro (with help from Adi Viveash), and looks like jumping ship into certain relegation, and subsequent dismissal.

He'd be a bloody fool to leave for Wolves, but the lure of instant PL football does that to people. It didn't work out for Nathan Jones at Southampton though and there's strong similarities between the two scenarios.

I'll be honest, i don't think Boro stay where they are. I expect them to fall off a bit and i don't think Edwards is all that. Might be his only chance to manage in Prem, even if its likely to be a disaster.

Yeah I suspect they're be play offs at most this season.
Saying that, I thought a month ago that Sheffield United would turn it around and make a push for the play offs...

As I said before, I think he's as likely to be in the Prem next season with Wolves as he is with Boro. Take the point that this way he guarantees PL football this season though.

Thought I'd have a look on boro's forum about Edwards, their presser has been cancelled and this is what a poster said:

''RE did not attend a club meeting yesterday and cannot be reached by anyone. USG who look after RE have told the club he wants to leave and all communication should be directly through them. RE is effectively banned from all club premises and has had his internal accounts for communication and data access revoked."
