Right but he was by and large feeding off scraps and mistakes which to be fair he took, should've had another. I don't think it would be compromising much to give him some help up there

Give it up mate. He's not getting help until Godden comes back.
Biamou and Baka will only figure in an emergency

Walker in the second half was superb

Fairly comfortable game. For all the crying on Fri that juke could have had a hatrrick, I didn't really fear brum and I didn't fear Cardiff.

We've punished a mistake. At this level, as we know mistakes get punished. It's good to inflict some pain for once.

As Grendel says, why Kelly was frozen out was bizarre. He was on the bench for about 6 games without getting a sniff and most of them we needed experience and calmness.

Hyam mcfadz great. Dabo lasting full game and looked to get stronger. Shipley gotta say was on his arse about about 10 mins before he came off.

He did well but does much better as a bit of a poacher than trying to lead by himself.

I was pretty bad tonight too but think the absolute gift of a goal masked the toothlessness of the last 2 performances. If he's just buying time until Godden is back then fair enough but we won't know that until he is. Back to back clean sheets is commendable after so many goals conceded.

It feels a little bit like it did when he took over (both times), his first few games weren't pretty but he looked to establish solidity first and build from there, which presumably will involve Godden when he's back.

That battling performance was excellent fully deserved the win, Cardiff were shite. Marosi looks fucked his face was all swollen, Wilson probably in goal on Saturday.

Scrap that, just seen a replay from behind the goal. Was a foul and the ref had a great view of it.

I've sussed that out from the last two selections, just think we're not playing him to his strengths

I am thinking/hoping that Kelly wasn't quite 100% so Robins gave him more time but bizarre if thats the case why was he on the bench?

I said we did well against Birmingham and for 80 minutes against Middlesbrough we need to play like a scrapping team

They have got to be one of the biggest sides you will see their forwards made fadzs look tiny but he handled it well

He was but we didn't create much at all for him. He got the goal from their error and then missed a good chance just after.

Whether a strike partner in Godden is the way to give him that I don't know, but we can't expect that many goals from him unless we create a few more chances than that.

We're looking better but still not got the balance quite right.

That game was suited to fadz today, his head is magnet to crosses into the box, massive performance from him.

An excellent result. We are now giving ourselves our chance in games - better to be a boring team than an unlucky one every week

Great result and just what was needed. Two clean sheets in a row and far fewer of the needless mistakes being made. I thought our centre halves dealt well with Moore this evening too.

Walker played on his own up front a lot in the lower divisions. He just needs a chance or 2 and he scores.

Since Kelly has come back in we don’t let teams walk through us in the middle of the park.

A great win and makes a trip to Norwich easier.

There was a push from the Cardiff player, you can see it in the replay from behind the goal.

Not convinced we can carry on creating so little, hopefully he's just working from the back forwards but we can't rely on winning games because of gifts like tonight.

Why are some saying we were lucky???
About time someone gave us a gift of a goal...we have given teams plenty of gifts this season.

Can see players getting up to speed.

Was it me or did some of our players looked fitter and stronger.
