Easily the best two games so far

Robins has managed to accept we need to scrap and fight and forget thus expansive nonsense

Why Kelly has been frozen out who actually knows but I would guess he starts must weeks now

War horses like Mcfazdean hamer sheaf and Shipley are essential as they can run and dig

Walker in the second half was superb

Them bloody championship 3 points feel fucking fantastic. Robins and has shit tactics yield 4 points and 2 clean sheets in the last 2 games.

Well done boys, deserved that. Maturing. They threw a lot at us but we stood up well to it.

As for all the bedwetters on here (I'm looking at you sparks), have a day off will you

I was pretty bad tonight too but think the absolute gift of a goal masked the toothlessness of the last 2 performances. If he's just buying time until Godden is back then fair enough but we won't know that until he is. Back to back clean sheets is commendable after so many goals conceded.

Spot on. Players we’ve got aren’t good enough to play the football we were playing in league one. Maybe as the season progresses they will grow into it but for now we need to get stuck in.

BTW, ignoring the defensive mistake well done to Walker for the alertness and the finish, given how much running he had to do all night you can't ask for anything more than that.

We won't play 2 up I don't think... Like I said he will compromise at 4231 at some point imo as it offers more forword support whilst maintaining the solid shape.

Rather win like this than not at all

Looking forward to having Godden and Walker upfront together. Walker looks a real player. Not convinced aiming for 1-0’s is the best tactic for the year but a fantastic 3 points.

But you eulogise over Wycombes 3 0-0s in a row!
Come on mate. Get a grip!

I mean tbf we still do try and play football but we're choosing when to do it a bit more, Hamer's one touch stuff is excellent

Kelly motm, but McFadz & Hyam marshalled the defence brilliantly. We caught them offside five times . Finally, big credit to MR for the way he set the team up

Still not convinced on the system we got lucky with their disallowed one and our luck for ours...we’ve faced brum and Cardiff Who don’t offer much interested to see how it works against Norwich tho

Wycombe have been doing well recently though. If we had lost 1 in 6 we would be very positive on here.

Massive, much needed three points, especially heading onto a game against Norwich. I don't know what we have to do to find a half decent ref, because we never seem to get one. No way they should have still had 11 on the pitch. Still, we won. That's all I bloody care about.

He did rule out a seemingly good goal for them though

Bloke on Sky saying the Cardiff disallowed goal will be a big talking point.

Did their players even argue it?

Didn't look a foul to be fair. Would've been upset if it was the other way.

Fought like tigers. Dabo running on memory alone. Cheap shot by Morrison on Marosi. Walker brilliant for the last couple of minutes in challenging for the ball. Well done. Free hit at Norwich.

I'm always nervous about City games, but after having not played for so long then being thrown in at what feels like the deep end, this season is really a roller-coaster of emotions......

Right but he was by and large feeding off scraps and mistakes which to be fair he took, should've had another. I don't think it would be compromising much to give him some help up there

But you're putting a negative spin on our last two performances. You can't have it both ways.

Real streetwise performance made even more impressive considering we were having to play against Cardiff and Sheffield Wednesday at the same time

Thoroughly deserved. Kelly and Fadz were superb. Will be good to see Walker and Godden together.

As someone has said, we can have a ho at Norwich now. Less pressure on the game.

I’m not at all. I was disappointed after the blues game as felt that was winnable. Tonight is a great 3 points all considered

After that assault on Marosi they deserved that disallowed goal - well done City.
