You booed Palmer every game let's be honest.

Truth is neither of them deserve any grief.

As for Callum. Pump it up is a memorable moment of our rise. He cared enough to do it so ask yourselves why you are so quick to hate on him for simply moving clubs. Most of people doing it are older than o hare and should know better.

Palmer is a lazy greedy self entitled wanker.

O hare is none of these

Fairly sure Robins alluded to some attitude issues when he never got the contract offer he wanted.

Both hull managers this and last season more than alluded to it

I think he’s a great player but no loyalty. He chased the cash, where as Milan could have gone but he stayed to see this project through . He deserves to stay in the championship, it could’ve been better but he went for the money. And that’s where he lost my love. Great great memories of him but like people say his career is short, so is life .

This loyalty thing is just rubbish. If O Hare was injured and his contract expired we wouldn’t be giving him another deal. We didn’t stick by him it’s basic contractual law - he has to get paid as per his contract.

To be clear the issue with O’Hare isn’t that he left it’s that he was shit until it was time to try and get a transfer then when the window closed and no one bit was shit again and that he fucked us about with contract negotiations then when he left did the glasses thing and whined that he wasn’t played enough when he was shit. All after being the player to most hype up his connection with the club and fans we’ve had in years.

Fuck him.
What do you mean by he was shit until he wanted to try and get a transfer? Wasn't he injured?

He turned it on for a few games around the window then turned it off again.

Had it on good authority from a member of first team staff at the time that COH wanted to stay but his wage demands based on what he was being offered by other clubs just weren't accommodated in King's new wage structure. In particular he was offered one really big contract abroad but chose football over money in that instance.

He got a well earned pay rise and King's wage structure has lead us to the promised land. Everyone's a winner.

I'm fairly sure he chose us over better paying, more established Champ clubs on our promotion from L1 because he really fell for the club - we all remember that video in the wig. He played a big part in our rise so really don't understand the sour grapes towards him.

nope, he would have signed for less than some of the other players were on

Was slightly less than that but that's what I was told by someone who knows far more than any of us

I don't really care what conclusion people come to about that but don't like to see an important former player slagged off the way he is by many

Don't know what his contract offer was afforded within the new structure so may not have been offered top bracket after his long layoff or something like that - who knows. Just passing on what I was told now that a bit of time has passed.

It came from John Dawkins, and i highly doubt this, and to turn that down and end up at Sheff Utd doesn't sound legit.

That being said, i do agree that the slagging off is embarrasing. He was just as important as Hamer, someone who legit told Robins he wanted to leave after we lost the play off final.

No I genuinely heard it directly from a member of first team staff who was working very closely with him at the time!

It sounds unlikely to me too but that's the info I have! Doesn't really matter now anyway but we agree on the key point that he doesn't deserve too much stick

O’hare was good for us; when him Hamer and Gyokeres were on the same wavelength we played some of the best football of the Robins era.
He wanted guaranteed first team football and a payday, I don’t blame him for leaving for that. Let’s not forget he wasn’t always first choice after he returned from injury. I was disappointed when he joined Sheff Utd, but we replaced him with a better player.
Booing and gloating isn’t very classy, I hope most of us are better than that.
