Came on a free went for the money 🤨 fuck him. After his injury and what the club did standing by him , ZERO respect. He could have been a legend, now a leg-end . Money grabbing tramp
Yeah he came for free and left for free? He chose us after his villa contract expired because he loved his time at the club and would have definitely been able to make more money elsewhere.

Football is a short career and he knows that better than anyone after his ACL which can be career ending. Had to go for his best option at the time which, looked more likely to be sheffield united.

Obviously I had a bit of a sour taste in my mouth at the time and you can probably trawl back through my posts to find me saying something sore but the day after getting promoted back to the promised land, to be creating a post slagging off someone who worked hard to try and get us there, is pretty weird mate

Set himself up financial for life, short career and had a serious injury which affected him massively.

Weird to even bring him into the conversation.

As much of a passion it is for us it’s a job for others, nice to know that so many people would turn down a huge pay rise at work though and lovely signing on fee because they are loyal to their current employer….

To be clear the issue with O’Hare isn’t that he left it’s that he was shit until it was time to try and get a transfer then when the window closed and no one bit was shit again and that he fucked us about with contract negotiations then when he left did the glasses thing and whined that he wasn’t played enough when he was shit. All after being the player to most hype up his connection with the club and fans we’ve had in years.

Fuck him.

i wish he had exited the club a bit better. but the truth of it is that he had a serious injury at the time we should have been renegotiating his contract. so understandable that the club didn't look to extend, just in case. but the club was clearly protecting itself, so we have to consider that. (i see talk of the club standing by him. i assume they just honoured the terms of the contract, without any choice in the matter. they don't appear to have offered him a new contract at that stage.)

when it came to renegotiate towards the end of his contract it's clear he thought he was prem quality. possible egged on by his agent, but they were both wrong. so he settled on a champ club that he thought would be promotion contenders. that didn't go as he'd planned, but there you go.

he could have exited better, but i don't get the level of hatred towards him. he's just made some bad choices.

Total bollocks. I know him and he wanted to stay.

He didn't sign the contract on offer as he wanted to see what other offers came in; fair play to him. Like I said, I'm not bothered because we upgraded on him. Players look after their own careers, I don't expect anything else.

Getting promoted with us would’ve ‘set himself up for life…’

We ended up signing Rudoni because we lost COH so I’m not bothered about him going and deep down he will regret leaving because he’d be a Premiership player by now.

COH never really ‘dragged us’ through games and we needed him to step up in 23/24 outside of Jan/Feb and he didn’t.

What a load of un-informed bollocks.

If he'd had a few shit games then you (and many others) would be demanding he is sold and replaced.... yet you expect "respect" from a player with little connection to the club, who has a career spanning perhaps 15 years to earn an income for life.

He will make a pretty good living out of this division for as long as he wants it, but he probably won't have a shot at top flight football now.

The Cov Pod have links to a few players.
John Dawkins - no matter what people say - is in contact with a number of ex players.
Callum O'Hare is one who he says frequently messages to express his happiness at home City have done this season, and JD says there is a story behind his departure that when it does come out, will make people see him in a different light.

Saddles put something on here at the time about his offer being withdrawn, no idea if true.

I think he’s a great player but no loyalty. He chased the cash, where as Milan could have gone but he stayed to see this project through . He deserves to stay in the championship, it could’ve been better but he went for the money. And that’s where he lost my love. Great great memories of him but like people say his career is short, so is life .

this was stated fact wasn’t it - we gave him an ultimatum, sign by ‘x’, he didn’t and so we pulled the offer…

Think it was something along the lines of O'Hare having words with Robins, King not being happy about it and withdrawing the contract offer.

It's all water under the bridge now, but I thought O'Hare was great for us and remember him fondly
