I mean, what exactly is wrong about anything written there, all sounds like pretty sensible advice?

Well, I'd suggest the image of a torched police car & "nice work" is a bit OTT to be fair.

For the record, I believe the killthebill protests (that happened in many cities across the country by the way) are the most valid of any protests since the extinction rebellion protests of 2019.

Depends really. If they are trying to get over the channel there's no need to risk their life is there? Multiple other countries before here where they wouldn't need to risk their child's life.

Yeah if they are chucking their kids on a boat from their home country to get out to avoid death I am with you.

Not chuck them on a boat 20 countries away.

Yeah that's subjective and fair enough if you don't like to see it.

LOL EDIT - was reading the poster, not looking at the pictures

Extinction Rebellion could have a whole new topic to be fair

I'd also like to point out that all the news coverage is of the sensationalist type, covering what happened at night. Where's the coverage of the many hours of peaceful protest and march? Anyone not looking any further would just be led to think " they turned up and trashed the place". Hardly balanced reporting is it? And that's on the leftie, woke BBC.

I know a girl who used to be normal and now is in extinction rebellion , sees herself as a general/leader type ...now I don't want to stereotype but she genuinely does stink

It is exactly how you’d imagine. All old crusties wearing the same pants they did to the CND marches in the 80s and yoga boys with man buns cracking on to vegan lesbians.

Voiunteer organisations don’t tend to attract well adjusted people. This is a huge problem in local politics.

Apparently some of the reports eg the ones about officers suffering broken bones and one getting a punctured lung have now been revealed as being false.

Yes, has been confirmed by the Chief Constable at a press briefing.
Chief Constable of Avon and Somerset Police Andy Marsh has been giving a briefing to local media this lunchtime. Regarding the investigation into Sunday's disturbances he said more images of alleged offenders will be released this evening.

Describing it as "the biggest digital investigation Avon and Somerset Police has faced". He also thanked the public for their help so far. On the injuries officers recieved, there were no broken bones or a punctured lung as previously reported.

Regarding last night's operation to disperse protestors on College Green he said the use of force was "appropriate" (there is footage of officers punching and dragging protestors). He described the event as "more like a rave or party than a protest."

He said, "We would be having a very different conversation if we had allowed 200 people to set-up a camp on college green with music, food stalls, and human excrement." "We have a duty to uphold the law and stop the risk of a third wave."

Meanwhile he also said an apology will be issued to Bristol Cable journalists Adam Cantwell-Corn and Alon Aviram.

Didn't a (Labour?) MP get a lot of criticism for going on TV and saying we should wait for the full facts to come out?

I think the (peaceful) protests are probably the most valid since the curtailment of union rights back in the 80s. The proposed legislation is not in keeping with a liberal democracy, full stop.

A lot of very disturbing videos emerging from last night.
Young girls sitting on the floor being attacked by police with batons and shields. They've got a thing for attacking women at the moment.

I'm of a different opinion .. police can't do right from wrong no matter what they do .

I don't have a negative opinion of the police , despite having several run ins with them in the past

They have a hard job

They do have a hard job, but they shouldn't be hitting women with batons when they're sitting down.

Awful images last night of them attacking people clearly doing nothing wrong and going for the press.

If it happens again tonight I’m going out to see first hand.

The police and their actions to that Daily Mirror journalist were fucking disgraceful.

Yet so floofs on hey are seemingly up for giving them a soapy tit wank

The footage on social media certainly doesn't look good for the police. Obviously anything can be taken out of context but not sure what context would make what is being shared a proportional response. Seems that again a protest was peaceful until the police waded in.

Following on from the police having to admit their claims of injuries and hospitalisation from the last protest were false and the actions at the Sarah Everard protest its not been a good few weeks. Wouldn't be surprised to see protests spreading to other cities as a result.

does it matter? Hitting women sitting on the ground isn't a good look for the police.
Plenty of examples of them being far too excessive in their use of force.

Same as that woman who pretty much went for a photo opportunity to get arrested.b

That's the thing, label it a protest and act however the fuck you want but always be the "victim".

Same as when there was that protest last year (cant remember if it was BLM or the EDL type one) and police horses were getting battered. "They shouldn't have police horses there".

Yeah looks peaceful as fuck. While people defend these pricks and think they are victims because they get a slap they will keep thinking they can act like it.

Then it's the "yeah but there were riot police there". I have walked past police with big fuck off guns, doesn't mean I wanted to kick off with them.

They are full time professional outraged victims, the same as how obvious it was before the "vigil".

you think the police hitting women sat on the floor is OK?
Fair enough. I think it's appalling.
The police aren't supposed to assault people. There is a time for them to use force admittedly, plenty of examples coming out today of where it wasn't appropriate.

Maybe they'll lie about the injuries they've received again to try and curry a bit of sympathy?

For arguments sake you are at a Cov wasps Sisu related protest and a few cunts ruin it and you get a pasting off the police even though you didn’t do anything wrong. You’d be fine with that? Or your Mrs was there as well actually and got a pasting.

Deflecting from a man in full body armour beating a woman sat down doing nothing is fucking scumbag behaviour.

Any other instances of beating women you’d like to defend?
