Ha chilavert, is he still playing? He used to take free kicks as well didn't he?

Retired ages ago, though he was just a free kick taker I think. Would definitely inject a bit of Latin flair into a cold night at Sixfields to have Murphy jogging up and firing them in from 20-30 yards.

Our season flopped and we are now relying on loanees to get us over the line. 4 or 5 will start tonight.

Wells was a genuine top class goalscorer, better, Hanson complimented him perfectly. Now Wells is at Udders our goal threat recently has rested entirely with Hanson, credit to him, he's been immense. But, he's injured and may not play, it's 50/50. Can't comment on Stead yet but he is not going to set the league alight at this stage of his career, as a local, he'll want a permanent move to us to wind down.

Aaron McLean is poo, he may well have been good once, many moons ago at Posh, but take it from me, he's friggin hopeless. At 30, having stopped scoring years ago he has dropped down for filthy lucre and it'll prove to be disastrous and very expensive signing for BCFC. I look at him and think of Wells and I could cry.

Loanee Leeds left back (Drury) is out and that is a serious problem as he's only just turned up and solved a serious problem. We don't have a left back, it'll be a right footed midfielder there, or, McHugh a slooooow left footed CB.

The good news is that if Hanson plays then the fans on the hill will see much more of the ball. :D

If we won tonight we'd be back within 7 points of the playoffs, albeit having played 2 more games than Peterborough. If Peterborough happened to lose tomorrow we would be back in with an outside (and I stress outside) chance of the playoffs. Would you still write the season off then?

I dunno. I admire your optimism but I think I'm done hoping his season.

Thomas dropped. No surprise really.

Clarke presumably injured too, Webster and Willis at CB will be an interesting partnership.

Mixes youth with experience but also both have height. Could actually work quite well (famous last words).

a win tonight would I believe put us 10th in the league ,and if we ended the season 10th then in my book that's a good finish taking all the shite we have been threw and put up with. saying that tho ,once safe ,we need to get to grips with the players staying for next season ,.get them some first team time and start building .

I hope it works. I prefer Willis at CB and think although Webster can be a bit slow, he is a unit at the back, and his experience will hopefully rub off on Willis being alongside him

What's with all the formations? We don't have that problem, it'll be 4-4-2, straight up, no pansy passing shit. Today, next week and forever.

Willis looked a lot better defending than he did going forward at the weekend. Assume it means Breen MkII at right back?
