If anyone was at the 3-0 Cup defeat away at Watford it was the best/longest rendition of Twist and Shout of all time!
Yep 2nd half for about 20 mins solid. They commented how good we were and was only L1 then.

My favourite memory of twist and shout was away against Peterborough. Jon Stead scored only goal and away end was rocking.
We were yhere but our allocation used to be split and was on the side on some wooden benches. Shit view and not in the atmosphere.

I asked my daughter what minute we'd first get where were you when you were shit? I went 2, she said 4.

It was 28 seconds ffs

Also immediately followed the attendance announcement.

Yeah we get it. I'm really happy for all the new fans, entertainment is a choice and not everyone is an idiot like me to be taken advantage of. I wear St Andrews and L2 as a badge of honour. I accept going down the leagues as testing and character building, but it's like all other fans have forgotten how bad it got for us with our ownership, L2 and playing in a different city.

Would love to know how their support would be. Every week now and really irritates me. Especially away as we've sold out loads of ends for years now. When we made play offs in L2, thst was our first top 6 finish for nearly 50 years.

The thing is how much of it is new support?

I know loads of people who were going in L1 and 2, but who were picking and choosing their games.

They've now got STs. So they're certainly more committed, but they're not new.

It's just salty opposition fans, no need to take it personally. A good riposte would have been, 'you're shit now that Cloughie's gone'.

And there will be some bandwagon jumpers who turned their noses up in years gone by, but also plenty more becoming re-engaged again after becoming disillusioned, and others whose imagination will have been captured and will now be fans for life, through thin as well as thick.

Derby were loud but their repertoire of songs were crap.

- All gone quiet over there
- football in a library
- where were you when you were shit

🥱

Aside from anything else you can’t go from football in a library to all gone quiet. Was it already quiet or not?? No consistency these rams.

Not many clubs out there that wouldn't see attendances drop based one hat we have been through

Don't get me wrong some fans deserted us at various times but it wasn't just normal club relegation down the leagues. It was a club with soooo many issues and no hope for the future

It's quite miraculous our turnaround

League 2 was class. Loved its utter madness but was the start of where we’re at now.
