I got flak for saying Wycombe were on the right track a month ago. Now they've almost caught us up after a record breakingly bad start.

Walkers runs off the defenders shoulders is a plus and he doesn’t get called offside like Godden. If those two get to play a run of games together they could make a big difference to our prospects

We look a bit lost tbh. We didn’t know how to get Dabo involved when we were playing four at the back, and Shipley and O’Hare were complete passengers. Things get a bit more familiar when we go to a back three, but we’re so much more vulnerable defensively. There has to be a middle ground somewhere, and I believe we have the personnel to create chances, but neither system we saw tonight is going to do the job, and Robins is running out of time to figure out which one will.

I agree but it's either him or again using a left footer there

Then we remain 1 point outside the drop zone, only because another team has been deducted points, and keep the worst goals conceded record in the league.

Glad you asked, makes me feel much better about things.

We need Godden and Walker up top with Sheaf/Hamer/O'Hare or Kelly, and a natural right footer at RWB. That's our best line up and allows us to be solid enough defensively while creating plenty going forward. We do not have a Juke type player to lead the line on his own.

But Godden was injured (as was Walker).
Both fit I'm fairly sure they play

At this moment in time it looks like they are adapting better to this league than we are.

1 point outside the drop zone sounds good to me.
No one moaned in 97 when we stayed up thanks to a point deduction

I fully understand the injury problems but I'm saying that's our strongest 11 so we should be trying to stay as close to it as we can manage. If that means Max partners Walker for a few games so be it.

There are too many variables to predict that. If we go with 1 up top for the rest of the season we're going down no question though.

It's unbelievable this year.
Some guy saying he'd drop Walker next game for Biamou and that anyone who thinks Walker was worth MOTM is mental

Granted we didn't create much tonight against a side that's likely to finish in the bottom half but there are still plenty of positives to take from the game.

Psychologically it's important that we didn't concede tonight and despite the drab performance from both sides, I'm not displeased. As Robins said, we need to use this as a building block.

I have to say I genuinely don't know what Biamou brings to the table in this division as he doesn't seem to offer anything.

The main positives are a clean sheet and Walker continuing to look lively. That said we really could have done with a win against a side that was there for the taken and to whom we posed few threats. We weren't conceding bags of goals because of our formation, it was stupid errors and we still made plenty even before he reverted to 5-3-2
