I remember Dennis Bergkamp in his 1st season for Asenal didn't look to good but boy O boy when he kicked on he was fantastic but he only scored 87 goals for them but on the flip to that had 94 assists

Wow, Dennis Bergkamp mentioned in the same thread as Max Biamou.
I’ve seen it all now!

I am so certain he will score ' if he plays' at Carlisle I will put on a £10 charity bet which I will paste on here for all to see and pay it into a Coventry Kids Charity , unlike Dale Evans it will be transparent to all. Its a win = win if he scores charity will benefit and I will shut up about him.

Lets hope he plays and scores, I would like it to go to a charity for child development

Good luck today max

Pretty sure he will be the first striker in ccfc not to score in his first 20 league games if he doesn’t bag today.

Just heading to bookies for Kempton Park racing bets
Having £10 double on Cov win and Max to score anytime
With my record of betting don't recommend following my example

I won £1.88 last week on Wycombe being over 3.5

I have just gone all in on Biamou anytime. £7.05 back if he scores.

Very magnanimous of you, but I fear the bookmaker will be the only charity that benefits from your generosity.

Be very careful Nick, with a flood of high value bets going on Biamou to score, the bookies will be suspecting a middle eastern betting syndicate are in action.

Actually the players feel Biamou is getting better week by week
Let's hope they're right and he starts scoring and leading the line through the second half of the season

I went past their offices the other day by Festival Park, was going to take a picture and say I had just spotted Dale Evans but thought it was a bit too far.

Without dipping into the match thread, how did he get on? I see he was subbed off for the Duck, assume he didn't pick up an injury? Another game without him getting a goal.......did he "work hard"?

Biamou didn't score any of the zero chances we created ergo it's his fault

I understand there was a player scored for Crewe today, he's a striker and that was his first goal in 49 matches!!!

To be honest, they were all poor today, and we never looked capeable of troubling their keeper. A makeshift midfield were largely overrun, a point would of been a good result, but once we went behind the game was over. The injuries have certainly had a massive impact, and we need the transfer window to come quickly.

he was awful today ! He can’t head cant hold the ball up not sure how he’s a striker looks more like a winger to me. Although service was shocking all game, how can professional players not cross a ball with all the time in the the world its appalling. We had 2 shots on target I can remember all game and they werent a good side. Need changes in January massively. At present nowhere near good enough for league one in my opinionn

Anyone watched Biamou for a minute when he hasn't got the ball ? Body language that of someone going through the motions. Doesn't shout, call, communicate well with other players either . Doesn't really cry out for the ball from corners/ free kicks etc. He's like a rabbit caught in the headlights. He's had a good run in the team of late. There has to come a point in the near future when he has to be dropped if he doesn't score. That's what he's in the team for and he's not doing it.
