you do know that there is no law that makes you have to read KCIC mailouts.

Indeed. What a shame there is no real compulsion to read them either.

To be fair to the guy. He has been posting pointless updates on a weekly basis for some time. It's not unusual (cue Tom Jones) to send out mailing lists/newsletters if you run a club or group.

To also be fair to the guy, he made a huge mistake with the offer and opened himself up to massive amounts of criticism. Though I feel sorry for him, it seems he isn't able or willing to shine the light on what went wrong (or I've missed it in all the noise), and perhaps should've protected himself a little better. Just a die hard City fan getting caught up in the game of thrones saga that is CCFC, I wouldn't judge him too harshly.

You probably need to read something before you can tell if you don't like what it says. Even judging a book by its cover involves looking at the cover.

Why critise CCFC fans for trying to bring the club home ? It might be a waste of time as they have to deal with SISU, but the march was done by these people and that was better supported than than any SF game. Thankfully.

By the sounds of it it comes down to can ACL be broken or should SISU be negotiate now.

Only one option makes any form of sense

I keep getting emails trying to sell me tickets to watch a football team called Coventry City. I have sent them to trading standards and await their reply.

Why the hell does this come out every single Michael thread... Michael was doing fine until he started to be played like a puppet now its all PR and spin on his side, making everyone jump down each others throats... all very boring now, whilst Michael continues to know fuck all about what is and what is not happening, just shit stirs and runs.

My post was meant to ape the tired forum trope, if it wasn't obvious. I fiendishly edited the post it quoted.

Stop knocking Michael, he has done more than the rest of you put together, we should put Grendull at the helm, with him being the oracle on all things we should have a return to the Ricoh by tea time.

I can't understand all this animosity towards Michael. You may not want to read it and you are entitled to your opinion to challenge him, but whilst I may not agree with everything he says and does I'm pleased that people like Michael supoport my team. Doing something, making a difference and not accepting or supporting this ridiculous situation which is so very clearly wrong. I've not spoken to a single City fan that doesn't want to come home. Surely even those attending Sixfields want this too, so I do hope we are able to give thsi guy a break. If he gives up what has been achieved apart from a little cyber bullying that means we ultimately all lose out. If he makes a difference we will never know, but if we get back I dont care if its the council ACL or SISU caving in or pressure from supporters groups or from the football league - I simply want us back at th eRicoh where we belong.

I've had a few offers for his number and I've turned them all down.

This is your baby. You suggested it and offered to send me his number. You keep your end and I'll keep mine.

Here's what I reckoned actually happened.

You tried to be a smart arse by suggesting if wanted the answer to the question I posed in the thread I started I should call him directly and you would pm me his number if I had the balls to. I called your bluff and accepted your challenge.

Meanwhile ML is monitoring the site as you would expect him to and stumbles over your post offering to give his number out to any Tom Dick or Harry and quite rightly gets pissed off and promptly contacts you tearing you a new arsehole asking what the hell do you think you're doing offering out my contact details on a public forum. You cack your pants and do not PM me his number.

You then start back tracking saying after you've vetted me I'm too immature and now you're trying to drag Michael into it presumably as an angle to discredit him. FYI I contacted Michael directly and said that there was no need to get involved and I've also had similar conversions with a couple of posters through PM's on here who have offered ML's number to me.

If I obtain his number I will call him but I will only accept his number from you as it was your idea.

My personal opinion by the way is that it's pretty pathetic to offer out the phone number of anybody when you have no business to do so, especially when that person to some degree is in the public eye. I really would have expected better from someone in higher management on a six figure salary, I always thought that maturity is a quality needed in abundance of someone in a position you like to make out you are in. Your offer was quite frankly immature and poorly thought out.

The truth is I never wanted or asked for it. This idea was Grendulls and no one else's. Hence I don't want anyone else involved. If ML gets a phone call from somebody called Tony next week he can be in no doubt who is handing out his contact details on a public forum.

Michael Orton said he would offer you the number Tony.

So all the above applies to Michael - yes?

I guess when you fell for the fact there was a deal on the table and then realised Michael made a fool of you you would always turn on him in the end.

Actually moff said it and I said I would give you his number. On reflection I am not convinced you are not a schoolboy so I declined.

Michael offered and you sent a post saying yes please.

    So is it;

Michael gave you the number and you have no balls to make the call

    Or

    Michael didn't

Your a sad little game playing man and I ain't getting anyone else involved in your pathetic little game. If ML didn't tear you a new arsehole send me the number and I will call him at some point next week if it becomes clear nothing is happening and ask him why.

Wanting to know what isn't or is happening was the original premise for the thread I started and I will make the effort to get an answer on that if I can.

In the meantime leave Michael, Moff or whoever out of it. You're the one giving it the big un, put your money where your mouth is or just drop it. You're looking more and more juvenile with each post you make on this matter.
