I don't think we can have any more. The reduction from our allocation last time is due to the regulations about having the front three rows netted off.

My two mates who are ST Holders and I go with (apart from midweek games) couldn't get any tickets and tried from 9:00am on the dot. Kept abandoning the basket when they went to pay. I'm interested to know at what time they actually sold out at, as it sounds like they weren't any tickets available for some time yet ticketmaster kept giving false hope and allowing them to be added to the basket.

Don't know what has gone on behind the scenes to persuade Notts to hand over the extra 500 seats we all know are already there but the club need to push Ticketmaster to properly test the fucking ticket system before selling.
There's screenshots on twitter of supporters being able to get 6 tickets per ST this morning.

I managed to get Biggest Weekend Sunday Memorial Park tickets last month. I needed 3 tickets and the system would only let me buy 1,2 or 4. I didn't want to take more than I needed, as there was only limited amounts available and didn't want someone else to miss out, so I went and bought 2, then back in and bought another single one.

Two days letter I got a pushy letter from Ticketmaster saying they were going to cancel the single ticket, as I had broken the terms and conditions of one transaction, per card, per customer. Ticketmaster can see who/what purchases people have made and what is against their allocation (a work experience student could do this piece of piss with Google Analytics) but no doubt CCFC won't push them to do this or make the system properly working.
(For the record, ticketmaster didn't cancel my single ticket and let me keep it as each house was allowed 4 tickets and I only made the transaction in this way because their system was at fault)

Excellent to sell out so fast but shocking what some have to go through .

This is why it’s still important for the club to retain a fair number at the ticket office for people who want to go in person still .
This is part of the reason that the home leg numbers are lower than they expect and why they lifted the 4 per person bollocks .
People still like to purchase in person and sometimes online and internet selling goes wrong .
When I told my blues mates at the jag about the club not selling tickets at the office they were baffled , as was I .
I expect a huge walk up and a kick off delay on Saturday and it will be the clubs fault totally.

Good luck with the extra 500 for those that missed out

I didn't bother until 09:30 as i assumed the site would be overloaded at 09:00

With a couple of 5 min exceptions I was clicking away until sold out with no success.

Why can't the ticketing site put you in a queue?
Otherwise it's just down to luck

Season ticket holders should get priority, but when it is 4 or 6 per ST holder and it sells out then you have to ask questions if they are doing the right thing.

This way people who never go to games will tag along with the season ticket holders and your average Joe who goes to 10 games a season and supports the club throughout will miss out.

Part of me wants to say buying online is a lot easier for everything (apart from CCFC Tickets) but then I have to remember that's that just my demographic and you have to put yourself in other's shoes.
My dad or grandad if they wanted to go, would prefer to go to the ticket office and the ticketing for any club needs to cater for all of it's fans, so yes I agree with you.
That would also limit the amount of of fans being able to buy 6 tickets when there's online glitches like today. :emoji_angry::emoji_laughing:

I always buy for my group on my season ticket account. I have 8 people who've done 5-10 games and 2 who've done at least 20 each home and away. When I get allocated 4 on my season ticket I'm not buying for randomers i'm getting them for people who are going up there anyway.

Also it's the same at every club (apart from Hull), one of the benefits of buying a season ticket is that you get a certain allocation for away and cup games. Our club is heavily reliant on season ticket sales so more perks should be given to encourage sales. It's shit that people miss out but we can only take 4,000 so some have to.

Sure, and the beef is not with you.

You can bring who you like in the real world, but I think there are sadly people who abuse the rule making it harder for genuine fans.

there's always going to arguments, complaints and hard luck stories when demand out strips availability unfortunately. It's a shame that people have to miss out but it's one of those things.
The fact they've already issued a statement about going in the home end tells me that they're serious about weeding out anyone that tries it though I'm sure if you keep quiet they'll be OK.

To be honest I'm going to force them all to set up accounts for next season just in case we ever get to a situation where I have to tell any of them they're missing out and next priority period recognises their purchase.

I think they made the same statement before the Cheltenham game, probably standard procedure for a sold out away end.

must have missed that statement, they were pretty lax at Cheltenham, hopefully be the same at Notts.

Wish I was going now.

I've just gone to do the network thing and you can add their name and email address and it will just send them a link to set up their account and it will automatically put them in your network. Not a bad system.

I've said since MK that we need to consider bringing in a loyalty points scheme, to help deal with games like this but it went down like a lead parachute on here.
Can never be perfect but just anything to bring some form of recognition to those that go the games, for in demand away tickets.

I.e. Priority 1 -
Season Ticket Holders + (With an Allocation of two tickets per ST, to two customer references that have X Loyalty Points)

Priority 2 -
Fans that have Y Loyalty Points or More

Priority 3 -
Fans that have Z Loyalty Points or more

ST Holders/JSB Members/Match Pack Members/Sky Blue Spotted Dick Members - Get X Loyalty Points at the start of the season, so that way they have been given recognition and a headstart/advantage for away tickets over pay as you go fans like myself.

Just an idea.

The problem with that is that it would be used a couple times a season really and the rest of the time there would be outrage from a season ticket holder who want to take someone to a game who is 5 points below target so has to wait for the next priority period and then misses out. You'd end up with people buying single tickets, nobody sitting together and more problems in away ends.

I think in League 2 and even in League 1 it would be used regularly. This year we've filled most away ends and I'm not even going into seat gate.

Well yes but I'm trying to think of a solution - situations like this morning where it's fastest finger first on ticketmaster isn't good enough. The club should consider a points scheme or demand Ticketmaster pull their finger out and start bomb testing their site. Any ideas from you?

Surely it still relies on fastest fingers in each priority you have mentioned like it was today when you have different priority levels if there are still only limited tickets as it wouldn't get out of Priority 1.

Things like this are always a bit random, buy a match package and go to midweek games and get priority....

yeah, i cant see the problem with having say 500 physical tickets at the ticket office for those who would prefer to buy it that way. Having said all that, with a small allocation of tickets people will always miss out, and those of us for picked up extra tickets, well I'd like to think that they are for proper Cov fans who would want to be at the game anyway rather than just day trippers or picked up by a ST holder looking to cash in on the ticket.

The club did only allow 2 per ST for the away leg , which is more than fair

Anybody trying to make a profit should have their tickets cancelled.

I personally think the club should introduce a points system , season ticket holders default at 23 points plus 3 points added on per away game attended .
That means that a supporter who has attended 10 away matches could be in the same priority bracket for away tickets as season ticket holders , as some people who have been to every away game will miss out on this .
I am a ST holder but don’t think away supporters are valued enough , I think the club should address this in the future

It didn't make any difference today, my two mates that are ST Holders and like me are on 11+ away games this season, still missed out.

What I mentioned is aimed to give those that regularly go, some chance of getting tickets. ST holders should get an allocation yes, be it 1 or 2, I don't know. But where that allocation goes is a mystery- they should at least try and vet that allocation to make sure it goes to people who regularly go to games.

I'll be in Nottingham, be it a bar or the home end, supporting the city.
PS I hope you're sat with the S.I.B!

That's always going to happen when the demand is much bigger than what's available, no matter how it's done.
