Does anyone know when our final squad for the first part of the season has to be submitted? know that the transfer window runs until September 1st, but we have matches before then so what happens with submitting the squad listing?

Kind of heard the same. Will see. Not expecting much, but hope to be pleasantly surprised. Them beating Man City 3-0 on Sat hopefully has them feeling complacent and overconfident. If we can frustrate them and hit them on the counter to nick a win, I'd be thrilled.

Have to start Simms. He deserves it and I think the fact he has less and less doubters on here shows the progress he’s making. He’ll have a strong season.

Left side is the clear weakness. I’m a JDS fan so not uncomfortable with him, but BTA in front of him is a massive square peg round hole situation, in a game we will need strong wing outlets on the counter - and support defensively.

Even if we bring Mudryk in, I doubt he starts so we are hoping EMC is back out of nowhere.

Id imagine EMC will be available from the bench. Considering Rudi has been training for a few weeks and also got an hour under his belt last week I wouldnt be surprised to see him on the bench either, will have 10 minutes in him youd imagine.

Maybe me showing complete blind faith but I think we turn up there Friday with a full squad bar Haji

I would start Tchaouna on the left and Sakamoto on the right with Simms in the middle. I think Saka deserves a start and Tchaouna can play left. I love BTA but I never think he plays as well off the left.
