It'll be played in England at some stage, they have to offer to rearrange it on the same terms or they'll have to forfeit
Posted similar on twitter earlier but this is a bit different IMO. Not least because that was in a pre-vaccinated world and a game scheduled to be behind closed doors. The players were in a bio-secure bubble which was breached leading to multiple positive tests including among the playing staff. More details emerging now. There is a bubble to bubble transfer system in place to allow those playing in other tournaments to go straight from that tournaments bubble to the IPL without requiring quarantine. This included the players and media involved in the England India test series.
