So Robins said that Bobby Thomas is injured and the interviewer didn't ask any more info on the injury?

Besides comments about how long Robins has, I'm not sure people are overreacting. You're allowed to think this is a very poor result and pick it apart.

Nothing wrong with that but catastrophising the whole season over the first few games is a joke.

Robins is the rock and he will get things sorted, that I’m confident but ……this time we’ve actually spent a lot of money and that brings extra pressures.
Not going to lie, we couldn’t stop his departure but VIK was a gem at this level and was suited to the task…..his replacements may see us as a sideways come backwards step and won’t have the same hunger. Hope I’m wrong

This is correct. We've spent decent money, and although we've sold Gyokeres, we've spent a fortune to replace him. Less than Playoffs is a poor season.
However people losing their shit over the first 2 games is a big overreaction.

Great, setting your standards high for once so you can start shouting Robins out at the first available opportunity.

I think we've got an issue with fitness due the poor preparation this summer, e.g. the Portuguese tour with no friendlies and the lateness of some of the signings. Two games lost in the last 15 minutes after being in control.

I don’t it’s just conjecture like most of the shit on here but VIK was on on the up and needed to prove himself …..and did, these guys have made a big money move sideways

At this point, nothing more than that. No need for over reactions. On Sunday we lost to the favourites for promotion and gave them work for their points.
Tonight is far more problematic and the lack of goals is not good. That said, win on Saturday and a lot will be forgiven and forgotten. For now, it will take time for Simms to adapt to being the main man, he is only 22, and Wright was spent most of last week travelling and sitting around Ryton.

Frustrating to lose but if we have high xG every game we should be in for a good season

As I said the other day one week point we had the last few seasons was we didn’t create big chances. We’re now creating big chances, it bodes well as you say.

Frustrating not to win tonight though.

Disgraceful. Reckon there will be any teams in the PL using this excuse? Unfit players....just lame excuses.

He sets the bar high so that when we don’t hit it, he can say “told you so about Robins”… he’s been doing it for years and every time Robins smashes it just take what he says with the pinch of salt he unintentionally puts on.

Hold on, is there actual questioning of Robins currently happening?

I saw HuckerbyDublinWhelan asking a question about the strikers which I assumed was a joke, but reading his further posts it obvious it wasn’t.

Im honestly at a loss for words.

We just have to take our chances. What finishing was on display tonight was even worse than Sunday.

Creating plenty though.

Yep I think the excitement over various foreign signings masked the fact that we had a very lacklustre pre-season, to the extent that even the players were starting to question why the squad was so thin.

We will bounce back I’m sure but we’re only playing for three trophies and yet again we’ve blown one in the second game of the season , that was fucking bullshit, again.
