It does seem in hindsight we had to lose a player in the window . Looked like MvE for large periods ,so not a total shock Sheaf left .
Really pleased MvE has stayed as he is flying at the moment

So your solution beyond 2 wingers & BTA is to play fullbacks out of position ? Rapha may not have been the answer but to not keep him even as a bench option is crazy.

Genuine question when 2 out of the starting 3 forwards are missing who fills in on the bench ?
Its not my solution, it's clearly Frank's who would of sanctioned the moves.

As for your question I answered that previously, we have to rotate to save risking injury and try and keep them on the grass till January.

Is it ideal? No it isnt, and as ive also said previously, the squad is 2 players short, but we are carrying players like Bidwell, Allen and Lats that we cant move on.

But even being short, There's still no place for Raphael who would never be used, we would play others out of position or change formation before Raphael (or Bassette) got a look in.

Allen , Bidwell and Lati are adequate squad players. None are now first choice back up which means we have strengthened in those areas but all three are adaptable to various roles when needed

Think Sheaf came out of the blue as a last minute thing that probably left us no time for a replacement. Offer was too good to miss.
Brum and Wrexham have moved the goalposts upping the ante on transfer fees that has made it difficult if you want to buy real quality.
Think where we were under SISU and where we are now.
If we get major injuries, we could be screwed, but that has always been the case in previous seasons.

So the Norwegian and US leagues finish before the next transfer window, could Doug be saving a few spaces for a couple of rumoured signings in January?
Just a thought

Just been looking at free agents, what about Josh Dasilva. Was apparently someone we were looking at earlier in the window. Jamal Lewis is also still available.

We've got a Wolf might aswell add an Ox, Oxlade-Chamberlein I would pick up and if Ali got his head right could be good, all we got is frees now to plug gaps

Well clearly we can't prove who is right or wrong so it's a pretty futile argument.

I just think it's absolutely mad to suggest that Sheaf would be resigned to the bench for the season.

Let me put it another way, do you think Allen and Eccles are better than Sheaf?
Oh I thought it was you who was saying sheaf wouldn't have played much? Sorry bro I liked the wrong guys post

Sheaf may have been back up but he was the first backup for sure

It's good in one respect but ironically it's one of the positions we've forward planned for. Selling Sheaf looks a bit desperate now and leaves us short of the quality we need in midfield. We are still short at right and left wing.
