Looks the type of player we need. Footballing basics and an eye for goal. Crosses thing is a red herring. As well as aerial stuff we get to the bye line loads. We are crying out for a poacher. If we’d been 10% more clinical last year we’d have won so many more games.

Not to dampen expectations but I agree with Boosh, think it’s a bullshit link to drum up interest

It’s the type of signing that could complete the attack. Can play off either side or down the middle and would leave us with plenty of options and styles to pick from. I’m hoping we can sign someone of similar quality.

New Signing
Sakamoto

Simms

I think one of Simms or BTA will be off. Someone to compete with Sakamoto on the right will definitely come in though

Yes i like those options, but would prefer a new out and out number 9 to replace Simms or BTA

Unpopular opinion, im happy to have both. Of course if a decent enough offer came in they could go.

I don’t think many number 9’s have done all that well in the championship recently. The top 4 didn’t really have a prolific one and the best was probably Sargent who is hardly Mitrovic. Could easily see Simms going somewhere and scoring

My issue with both BTA and Simms is when they’re both on form they can be unplayable. When they’re not they are anonymous and dreadful. There’s no in between with either. I watched all of Simms goals from last season and quite a few headers in there. That shows he can be an effective target man. With the amount of crosses we put in he should be lethal in the box.

Don't get me wrong mate, I'd happily bin both and freshen it up completely but I've had the argument already so will go with the which I'd rather keep argument now.
