In my opinion it was the biggest signing of the season.
From your accountancy background what would you regard as a feasible sum to invest now and I'll compare that with my business owning background for a bit of debate.
We are currently neutral on transfer spending this window.

With another £6.5m coming in a spend of £10m-£15m would suffice.

he got credit for that but it’s just one facet of owning a club
He could have continued to pay rent.

King has been brilliant for our club. He could have pocketed money from player sales but has covered losses whilst reinvesting every penny and more on money received and still made big offers for players. On top of this we have our own home for the 1st time since the last century.

What more do you want from him?

Out of interest, why do people think we'll make 3 signings, tomorrow, in one day, considering we've made 3 in 3 months?

Doesn't make any sense. We'll be lucky to get one in. If we were going to have our top targets signed, it would have happened by now. Ridiculous to think we're saving it all for the 'last day of the window' just to make it exciting.
Because we can only name a 25 man squad, so players have to go out before any new ones can come in.

We let Binks go, and now it looks like Sheaf and Bassette are off, so that leaves 3 squad places available.

Hence people are expecting 3 to come in.
It doesn't guarantee it, but that's what's possible.

Based on the fact that King was previously prepared to go to around £10M for Hughes that's not unreasonable. So why the original sarcastic comment re King ? Smarten your act up , you've surely got to do better than that .
You defend King like he’s brucking your back up every night.

I hope to one day have a squire as loyal as you

This window? Shall we forget that Grimes was bought after we were about even on transfers since his takeover?

You found your niche on unbelievable transfer rumours. The real nitty gritty stuff seems to be a different matter.

That's an arbitrary cut off point for the last century.😂

huh grimes was from january, how about you go back to last summer in that case.

You post lots of paragraphs to seem intelligent, but get found out quite a lot which is why you switch accounts so frequently

Maybe clutching but not replacing binks benefit of the doubt they probably thought we’ve got plenty of time to replace him, and it’ll prob be woolfenden, but there’s no way we let sheaf go the day before the window shuts with nothing lined up, 100% we get at least 2 in tomorrow

A move from Coventry for Bodø/Glimts Villads Nielsen was recently rejected. The 20-year-old is hot!

Shortly before the transfer window closes, there is a lot of talk about defenders in Norway. A number of clubs and players are expected to be involved in the next few days
