Out of interest, why do people think we'll make 3 signings, tomorrow, in one day, considering we've made 3 in 3 months?

Doesn't make any sense. We'll be lucky to get one in. If we were going to have our top targets signed, it would have happened by now. Ridiculous to think we're saving it all for the 'last day of the window' just to make it exciting.
I think its people who are unrealistic unfortunately. they see things very black and white.

I’m with you, does seem a bit last minute, we soon got the sheaf deal done, maybe the clubs wer‘e buying off are waiting to get replacements in first ? The opposite to what we do 😂

Nahh, ain't buying that. There's one day left of a 3 month window, most well organised clubs have their shit together by now. It ain't a fucking car boot sale.

Lots of transfers happen on the last day. Clubs hold off to maximise what they get for players and get to keep them for a few more games. Other clubs also wait to sell because they want to make sure they have signed the replacement knowing they have solid offers for the players they are replacing.

Hull dont want to sell under any circumstances as they cant replace him
They're in a financial mess. If they miss another payment their punishment gets extended.

Of course they don't want to sell. But they might have to if they want to secure their financial future. Their problem is we might have moved on and see Woolfenden as our best target.

In my opinion it was the biggest signing of the season.
From your accountancy background what would you regard as a feasible sum to invest now and I'll compare that with my business owning background for a bit of debate.
We are currently neutral on transfer spending this window.

With another £6.5m coming in a spend of £10m-£15m would suffice.
