Diangana turns up once every so often… unfortunately like Michael McIndoe - happened against usI'd be tempted by Diangana if wages were reasonable. Versatile, experienced and always scored against us!
Johnston is still under contract and they paid £3m for him last summer? Do people have no idea of context?Would much rather us go for Mikey Johnston from WBA to be honest!
Interesting that Swift has been released. I wonder if he was a recruitment team target, or a Robins target previously.

I am quite aware of that, my comment was in a response to the idea of going for Diangana, and that Johnston would be the pick from WBA. Not that I for a minute think we would try and buy him.Johnston is still under contract and they paid £3m for him last summer? Do people have no idea of context?
Ok, but that's the point. I wouldn't pay a fee for either of them, but Diangana on a free to add depth sounds interesting to me.I am quite aware of that, my comment was in a response to the idea of going for Diangana, and that Johnston would be the pick from WBA. Agreed, I don't think he would add much to the squad. It is Lewis O'Brien I want us to go for, especially if Sheaf goes. I expect O'Brien will be snapped up by another club soon though, a few have been linked already.Swift isn’t a progression anymore. Although saying that for a free an he may live locally. I’ve seen worse frees. Wages dependant

O'Brien's wages would pose a problem. I'd imagine he'll be bought by one of the teams coming down.
He us on 35,000 a week with a year left, no chance he moves on perm and even on loan its a hefty fee.Good player and would help us but i think he is out of reach.
Thought we had already 'secured' that Spanish lb on a free.I wonder if Harry Toffolo would get another Prem move. Out of contract and would be a great starting LB.
If we have then his season doesnt finish til the 1st so unlikely we would announce it til gone that pointThought we had already 'secured' that Spanish lb on a free.
Not only that, pretty sure he was bombed out under Lampard at Everton wasn’t he? Training with the U23’s and I’m fairly sure he did not speak well of Lampard in an interview I saw.60k a week Doucoure will not be coming to us![]()
That 87 points is roughly the same a Lampard would have got had he been here at the start. We won 18 points from our first 18 games. If we had averaged 2 points a game from those games we would have finished on 87 points which would have been 13 points off automatics. That suggests we need a couple of quality signings rather than the major surgery that some want. We are desperate for a mobile attacking midfielder who drives at defences to create space for the likes of Rudoni or an attacker to get shots off earlier and maybe a defender in the Doyle mould. Besides that we have youngsters that need to have a path to the first team as we are not made of money. Luke Bell can cover for Wilson until Dovin is fit again for instance, I think the loan market will be utilised if the quality isn't available in permanent deals.
He will sign for Wrexham.Forest will likely want him moved on permanently if they can help it.
Swansea were paying the majority of his contract, so shouldn't be too much trouble for a team coming down from the PL
