About £3.5 million each?

if you can get £5m for them combined that feels like the best case scenario in this window. Both had poor seasons. If you can get either off the wage bill and claw back £2m with some add-ons, you suck it up and move on.

I could not do CTA. Too much tax. I enjoyed the content, and how applicable it was but the exam just felt like you need to know absolutely everything, and every scenario had its own rule.

Look at us SHUNT, enemies to lovers trope

I’m fortunate that I work with owner-managed businesses and personal tax and these were the only units I needed to do. Ridiculously hard though.

Not sure about enemies, we all share at least some common ground in wanting CCFC to prosper.

Anyway, I think we do need somebody different from Simms and BTA as I've stated before, but if we are to keep one of them it is the former imo.

Simms is more likely to go somewhere and score 15 goals but potentially Asante is a better bench option. Hypothetically if we had Wright and another top forward, we might be better off keeping BTA to be that bench option to see out a lead.

I think Asante was unlucky as the ideal scenario was for Simms to start well score goals with Asante being brought on to protect leads and be a menace for the last half hour. Sadly for Robins, Simms got hurt, didn’t score and we didn’t get any leads to protect.

Either way I think we’ll just sell whichever one attracts the most interest. I could see Asante chasing a move to be first choice and Simms not being arsed. That’s purely based on my perception of their characters though.

If you watch Simms/BTA in a front 2 last year you'll see there are players in there. Problem is neither can adequately play as a lone striker

I'm not too fussed which one moves on - Simms has time on his side & BTA can cover the wing in a pinch - otherwise its a pointless debate

Wonder if we’re eyeing up a Grimes type signing in CB. Someone proven in their peak not signed with a view to making a profit. Not sure who that would be though? Mepham? Cooper?

I was just out with the kids at the Showcase Bowling and as I was walking past I saw Callum Doyle and Lampcard ordering their ice cream dessert in Pizza Hut. Make of that what you will
Seriously! Great news, but im not sure Ice cream so close to the season is a good idea...

Which showcase?
