Wright may well have been, but there's no confirmation of that. Just supposition based on Pochettino's comment. Lampard described him as returning with an injury. So...
With Vik, Robins had said that wasn't fully fit during the play offs, and think Viveash confirmed it in podcast he did a while ago.
Vik was having injections on ankle injury for a while, certainly through playoffs.

From what I saw last night Bassette needs a loan. Rapha has something, but will be a tough ask to be a regular championship player at this stage. I need to see Brau in the stronger team we fielded second half. He seems to be technically sound

Rushworth will solve the keeper issue
I’d trade both Lati and Binks for one quality centre half
Left back we need to shift Bidwell, legs have gone
A championship-ready right winger who can also play up front to add depth
If no changes in midfield I wouldn’t be fussed as it’s strong. But if we can add a difference maker then we should.
Striker is a must

That’s absolutely bang on tbf, couldn’t agree more. In terms of transfer hierarchy I think we pretty much all agree it’s:

GK > ST > CB > (backup RB if MVE goes) > LB > CM?

Just curious. If we get rid of binks and lati and replace with 1. Who becomes 4th choice?

It comes to something when we are looking to upgrade the upgrades that we only got in less than a couple of seasons ago. Shows how far we have come as a club

Rudoni, Grimes, Torp, Sheaf, Andrews, Eccles, Allen.

That's the order in my opinion, you improve by finding better than the bottom end of that list. If Eccles generates money to help bring in quality in other areas or in midfield then so be it. If Allen moves on as well or waits for an opportunity thats ok too. I can see Allen and Eccles going, but not bothered if they dont.

I'd keep Lati in all honesty, as boring as it may be his versatility is helpful and he's a very good character and leader on the pitch. Binks though could go, though we'd get a lot more interest in Lati imo.

Agree on Bidwell, looks very laboured and given the 3-1-6 stuff seems unsuited to that way of playing.

So just to recap::

The mass exodus of Collins, Allen, Eccles, Latibeaudier, Binks and Bidwell hasn't happened. Some fans made it seem so finalised and straightforward it would all happen in the first two weeks of the transfer window

Obviously some fans aren't so ITK with Frank's brain as they thought.

Just checked. You were one of those happy with Wilson starting on the first day.

Makes sense.

Glad lampard agrees with me and not you.

I was happy with Wilson starting on the first day because the choice was between, Wilson, Collins or Bell at that time.

The question was happy with him starting on the first day and not relying on him all season. The transfer window will still be open after the first game.

Not that straight forward is it. Eccles fetches more money than Allen so if they see more value in the money than in Eccles then let them do what they need to do. I've no doubt we'll upgrade if it comes to it.
I'd be disappointed to see Eccles go, hes still only 25, is a decent player and can cover a couple of positions, great player to have on the bench at the very least.

Maybe Kai Andrews is seen as a potential replacement, in which case any fee received could be put towards a new CF or CH ?

I'd be very confident we can upgrade Eccles tbh. Let's wait and see.

Wheeling and dealing relies on other clubs making approaches for your players and willing to meet their market value.

There isn't a player in the squad that couldn't potentially be upgraded.

But shifting about 6 or 7 players who under contract, but aren't deemed good enough by some fans, was never going to happen.

Luckily we're getting a keeper in and are not relying on a sub par one. Think a few more will be improved upon before the window is done.

I still can't see more than two going out. Interest in Eccles might be on hold due to injury.

Re the keeper situation, I still believe you have to have faith in your number 2 keeper to start games and even have a run of games. You don't have to rest keepers like outfield players. But they can still get injured.

Even if Rushworth is confirmed there is no guarantee he will be able to play every game.

Don't understand your point on the keeper at all and I bet more than 2 go out.
Wilson won't even be the number 2 when everyone is fit, he's the number 3.
