Yes BTA as a backup squad player/sub.

Sell Hadji for a decent fee and get a quality replacement with that same or near equivalent fee who is most consistent and who has offers more to the team in terms of linking up and closing down.
Hadji has talent sure but hopefully we can have someone more reliable and does more for the team.

You'd rather keep BTA than Wright?

I would expect some movement out next week, FL has gave everyone a chance and will be very close to knowing the set up and balance of his squad. I think a few will be told its in the stand or fight for a spot in squads without attitude, or call your agent to find you a club.

Obikwu potential of extended deal and loaned to L1.

Collins and Binks anything that involves the exit door.

Allen, Bidwell fight or agent called.

Then Simms, BTA and Norm anyone's guess, but cant see 3 staying.

You'd think Binks would of learnt how to defend, playing in Italy for a couple of years. I'd keep BTA and Simms to be honest. Loan out Bassette & Obikwu, and bring in a young striker to provide competition. If Frank sees a Haji as a CF, then we need a wide left man.

I don't understand this at all, Haji has contributed more goals and assists over the past two seasons than anybody else, he's one of the biggest goal threats in the league and our best forward by some distance.

BTA is a hard worker but just does not fit into the system we play, he should be moved on rapidly.

We're not selling Wright and getting someone more consistent that offers more for the same fee.

Wright has consistently scored goals wherever he's been and since he's been here he's mainly been played out left, which makes his goal return for us more impressive in reality.

I think Frank is looking to play him down the middle which will somewhat mitigate the "getting lost" in games where he's not scoring and it feels like he's a passenger. We'll have EMC on the left, Saka on the right and Wright down the middle. That's not a bad forward line at all but I agree we probably need someone other than Simms and BTA as backup as they really don't seem to fit the system we play.

Yeah we have a guy who has proven he can be top goalscorer in this league - time for the coaching staff (and medical team) to draw it out of him

I suspect the odd construct of the binks deal, which may have looked like a good idea at the time when we thought we were investing in a future talent, makes off loading very difficult now we have concluded he is actually a likely dud. It is probably in binks' financial interest to go right through his contract like Moore. In short aren't we stuck with him?

Hadji has quite a lot of 'off' days. That's what I mean by consistency. He is athletic and fast for sure and is a good goal scorer but I wouldn't say he is a what I call an 'all around' top footballer . He might have produced more goals and assists then others at club but who knows what some highly rated forward would have done in similar price bracket. We don't know obviously.
Another obviously... anyone that is an international clearly is very good.

Maybe we just need someone better than Ellis(no slight against him as he seems a likeable guy).
Selling Hadji and Ellis might produce funds that enables purchase of two overall better forward options. The way deals are arranged over a prolonged period. The chances of my ideal scenario of two in and two out are virtually non existent before season starts.

No guarantee 2 new forward options are better than those we sell
