Poor choiceSelling Eccles, but keeping Allen. Typical Bling.
Jamie Allen baby will ring round no doubt when he wins us a throw in

100% certain we are looking at a new CF, I do think they are potentially holding off until one of Simms/BTA can be moved on though. These aren't low cost players like Ben Wilson and we can't have them sat around doing fuck all.Yes. We've already been vindicated by the elite tactician agreeing with us that a new keeper is a high priority.
I don't think he was "clearly" carrying an injury at all. He could have been rested in any number of the game leading up to the playoffs if he was with Simms and BTA fit. Nothing was spoken about leading up to any of the games, during them, or in the aftermath. He was clearly carrying an injury in mitigation. Gyokeres wasnt great in his playoff season but nothing is said about that
Both go. Pereira for Eccles, Andrews takes Allens place.Poor choice
Jamie Allen baby will ring round no doubt when he wins us a throw in
Be the ideal situationBoth go. Pereira for Eccles, Andrews takes Allens place.
I suspect the odd construct of the binks deal, which may have looked like a good idea at the time when we thought we were investing in a future talent, makes off loading very difficult now we have concluded he is actually a likely dud. It is probably in binks' financial interest to go right through his contract like Moore. In short aren't we stuck with him?
Yep wouldnt mind that. Both go. Pereira for Eccles, Andrews takes Allens place.
And this is the crux of the issue. Way too many people discarding wright now regardless of his stats because he upset them by not looking arsed whilst playing through an injury that would definitely have prevented him looking and running like he was arsedHaji is clearly a quality player but he has a lot of work to do to build up trust from his abject performances at the end of last season.
He might have produced more goals and assists then others at club
Vik was absolutely brilliant that season! He was clearly carrying an injury in mitigation. Gyokeres wasnt great in his playoff season but nothing is said about that
what injury? And this is the crux of the issue. Way too many people discarding wright now regardless of his stats because he upset them by not looking arsed whilst playing through an injury that would definitely have prevented him looking and running like he was arsed
Perfect imo. Pereira will offer us something different in midfield and Andrews should absolutely get minutes this yearBoth go. Pereira for Eccles, Andrews takes Allens place.
Where x??Stoke Itk saying Eccles is about to join them
On their forum. Attached the screenshot, meant to be on the money for themWhere x??

I said in the playffs not the whole season. He wasnt great in the actual playoffs was he? Im not discounting anything about him or his season but you cant criticise Wright for a poor perforamnce and give Vik a free pass.Vik was absolutely brilliant that season!
I think he was slightly injured towards the end but had to play. Missed a heap of chances against Reading at home but to say "he wasn't great playoff season" ie 23/24 goes against all the evidence .
You said his playoff season?I said in the playffs not the whole season. He wasnt great in the actual playoffs was he? Im not discounting anything about him or his season but you cant criticise Wright for a poor perforamnce and give Vik a free pass.
Pochettino said he arrived with an injury. Do you disbelieve him?I don't think he was "clearly" carrying an injury at all. He could have been rested in any number of the game leading up to the playoffs if he was with Simms and BTA fit. Nothing was spoken about leading up to any of the games, during them, or in the aftermath.
He picked something up away with USA (who also wouldn't have called up an injured player) and it has now become fact that his terrible end of season was due to an injury.
As was WrightTo be fair, Vik was carrying an injury.
Written incorrectly then but i meant the actual playoffs. if we go on actual league seasons Wrights scoring is at least on a par with that anywayYou said his playoff season?
Eccles is too similar to Sheaf & Grimes though. Allen gives us something a little different and he links better with the forward player, but he will be a back up, as it seems Frank likes Kai Andrews, so he will also be in and around the squad. If we keep Allen and get rid of Eccles we have made the squad weaker.
Well you should apologise to him for having a go when it was you who was incorrect.Written incorrectly then but i meant the actual playoffs. if we go on actual league seasons Wrights scoring is at least on a par with that anyway
I didnt ask you to apologise to me so ill pass. if he is that senstive maybe a public forum isnt for himWell you should apologise to him for having a go when it was you who was incorrect.
Wright may well have been, but there's no confirmation of that. Just supposition based on Pochettino's comment. Lampard described him as returning with an injury. So...As was Wright
Allen would happily be a squad player not sure Eccles would be.Eccles is too similar to Sheaf & Grimes though. Allen gives us something a little different and he links better with the forward player, but he will be a back up, as it seems Frank likes Kai Andrews, so he will also be in and around the squad.
If Eccles does go, we need an aggressive in your face midfielder with a big engine. Sounds like Pereira is that kind of player
We have a full squad pretty much we can take the money from Eccles and replace himIf we keep Allen and get rid of Eccles we have made the squad weaker.
We know full well the club has began to refuse to provide details on player injuries over the last couple of seasons, yet use transfermarkt as your source of truth?what injury?
