Oh dear, you really are going round and round in circles.

I think most would agree that we need a goalkeeper and given the chance we would not play Wilson.
You haven't explained how we are funding this , you are just posturing and posting nonsense when you clearly answered your own question a couple of posts ago .

Like Saddle said there is no money until we move players on

Problem is, it will surely lead to Wilson being pissed off as the No.2. His role is to fill in for Dovin when he is injured, if you then go out and get a new temporary No.1, you're basically saying to Wilson that he can't be trusted. If we shift Collins, would someone come in on loan to be second choice behind Wilson for 6 months? For the hassle it might cause, I wouldn't be surprised to see nothing happen in goal and they wait it out and cross their fingers nothing catastrophic happens
Who gives a fook if he’s pissed off. He can’t be trusted in the first place and needs to be moved on.

To be fair it was indicated we wouldn't be signing anyone for a significant fee. That still leaves an option of either a loan or a free transfer.

Just going off track for a moment

Over the course of the summer so far how many goalkeepers have we been linked with , either as a permanent or a loan? Can't remember seeing one if I'm honest

It does but both options still need funding, most free transfers come with a signing on fee and some loans come with a price too

Yes but I don't think we're financially crippled to the extent where we physically can't bring in any more players. We've just sold nearly 24k season tickets and it's looking likely that the Gyokeres saga is concluding soon.

The issue is the club probably isn't in a position to be tabling multi-million pound bids for players as it doesn't have that kind of capital available. Not at least until fringe players are moved on and/or MVE is sold.

We aren't run by SISU anymore you can breathe.

Collins is so terrible that people are now convincing themselves that Wilson is good enough. I don’t want to go into the season with either in goal. Just loan a keeper, simple

And if you want a quality loan say from the Premier League, you will have to wait a few weeks yet, until they decide on their own squads and who they require.

Players who are available now probably wouldn't be interested in a 6 month contract.

Whats odd is people assuming any loan keeper will be guaranteed to be decent. Im pointing out they might not be.
Nobody is saying they are guaranteed to be decent. People are saying that Wilson and Collins are that shit, they'd rather try their luck getting a decent loan keeper than not try at all. What is so hard to understand about that?

I am hoping the next signings we make are loans from chelsea who are not back from the world club cup for a week or so.
Their young winger George would be a phenomenal signing and there are a couple of others who would be realistic options too. We have a manager that's it's prestigious to play for and a great group of professionals to play with. If Frank can persuade Chelsea a couple of players are better developed with us for a season we will be a serious threat to everyone we play.

A couple of things I’ve considered regarding our current situation:
1. The club did well to exploit Villas needs to raise funds for FFP and I think have committed funds from the future realisation of Viks move.
2. DK has turned a £15m loan into shares, which is a significant commitment and stabilised day to day operational spending
3. As fans we tend to assume that transfer fees received can be allocated to expenditure on new players, whilst forgetting that all championship clubs run at a loss of circa £10m +.
4. Any information “leaking” from the club saying we’re skint is a helpful tactic in transfer negotiations, if it’s untrue.
5. FL has a full preseason to work with the squad he’s inherited and I am optimistic that he can improve the underperforming players (the only exception being Collins, who raises my stress level to maximum by being selected).
