Its not purely a wages issue though?Wagner will throw money around like confetti so if Manneh is purely a wages issue it will be Birmingham he goes to.

Very true but they are arrogant enough to think that they will get promoted quicklyBirmingham will be in serious bother further down the line if they keep spending like this tbh.
I did say ifIts not purely a wages issue though?
Their policy is so scatter gun, as has shown. Davies cant put team together.Birmingham will be in serious bother further down the line if they keep spending like this tbh.
Think he means we're top of the table and despite a recent wobble, we're in a much better position to give Manneh exposure to Prem football next season and a pay rise that comes with it. Blues are a hype job and despite beating us aren't going anywhere fast, players haven't really tended to improve there recently either, more flop if anything. How do you know that ?
Sensible Blues fan and impressed with Simms sort of contradicts itselfTheir policy is so scatter gun, as has shown. Davies cant put team together.
Good friend whos a sensible blues fan says the same, no thought out plan. Interestingly he thought we were very good sunday, really impressed, especially with Simms also.
Again always nice for bit of balance as we always just view from one side of the fence.
I did point out he was only playing because wright has been as much use as chocolate fire guard lately.Sensible Blues fan and impressed with Simms sort of contradicts itself
EMC on the leftJust said on talksport “and how about Callum Wilson to Coventry”
couldn’t believe my ears
Assuming that was a suggestion cause if not I’m gonna have to delete my post on the Wilson thread fastJust said on talksport “and how about Callum Wilson to Coventry”

The richest prize in football is a reference to the consequence of an individual game winning you promotion, not to specific prize money related to itIs the prize money for the Play-off winner not greater than 1st/2nd? They say its the richest prize in football so would suggest he/the club would profit more for a play-off win than a league win?

When you have the highest scoring team in the country, the sensible thing to do is to blow up the entire forward line in January and have four strangers play together instead.EMC on the left
Esse in the no 10
Rak-Sakyi on the right
Wilson up top
Make it happen Douglas![]()
Almost as thick on here as you are on the politics thread, weirdoWhen you have the highest scoring team in the country, the sensible thing to do is to blow up the entire forward line in January and have four strangers play together instead.

They may be spending a lot but they're not spending it well. Stoke threw away an absolute fortune and couldn't even get a top half finish doing it the Birmingham way.Birmingham will be in serious bother further down the line if they keep spending like this tbh.
Someone with pace would complement him well I've always thoughtA defender with leadership is what we need, its becoming difficult watching Kitching recently, his inability to head a football is a worry.
I know, you're preaching to the choir there. If Blues crack on as they are i don't see it going too well. They may be spending a lot but they're not spending it well. Stoke threw away an absolute fortune and couldn't even get a top half finish doing it the Birmingham way.
Well that’s a twist. Maybe trying to get more money out of us to make it more in line with the other teamInteresting line on Manneh someone has just posted on twitter...

It's behind a paywall but seems to say their manager is saying he's staying put. Sounds like them just negotiating in public again. Certainly seems that they are difficult to negotiate with I'd say.
His team are behaving in a disgusting wayWell that’s a twist. Maybe trying to get more money out of us to make it more in line with the other team
That's sort of how I've interpreted it. That it could be a positive that maybe Manneh prefers us over BluesWell that’s a twist. Maybe trying to get more money out of us to make it more in line with the other team
