The deal is agreed, and after summer the player doesn't want to fuck around. It's not 100% signed and sealed but would take something substantial for it to change now.

Exactly, give the guy a break he's been sat on the bench watching then is suddenly dropped in the middle of a totally new backline.

Yeah this is where a lot of people get tunnel vision with the transfers. Loads of deals are agreed outside of transfer windows but obviously as you say they can't be registered until said window officially starts.

From memory I'm sure we agreed a deal for Rudoni for instance months before the summer 2024 window.
