Took the words right out of my pie hole.

Won’t take them long either, first game back you’ll hear some c**t calling Walker lazy and Sheaf shit before they’ve done much.

‘You’re slower than your name Walker! Twat!’ as the dude is spilling his pie on the floor into his pint

I’ve always worried when we’ve got larger crowds that aren’t for big days out and such. Accrington at home in L2 still sends shivers down my spine. A bug had just gone through the camp and they weren’t at 100% but McNulty was a lazy prick, Baylis should have fucked off out of the club, Max (their future hero) wasn’t good enough for league two.

I know I moan to fuck on here but if you’re going to the game you should get behind the lads. I worry now we’ve sold all these tickets in the championship we’re going to have people from the moaning days back not realising the atmosphere has mainly changed and become more supportive in the last few years.

Agree, there are a lot of unrealistic fans who will quickly jump on the players back. Taking the FB pages asa barometer, I can count at least 5 players that would have been called out and booed this season but then heroes the next. Sadly every club has them and hope other fans call them out

Mrs BSB has been having concerns about not ‘fitting in’ at games on account of being a middle class visually impaired woman. I have assured her that based on this forum, so are most of the fan base.

Is that the middle class way of saying she's a bit of a minger? Or that you are?

Based on the current rumours that have done the round then the ideal window would be:

GK: Walton
CB: Ostigard
LCB: ????
LWB: ???
CM: James
CM: Walsh
AM: Patterson
AM: Twine
CF: ???

Get them done and there is a top half team in the making.

Lewis Holtby released by Blackburn. He was supposed to be the next best thing a few years ago. A possible AM?

Really thought he'd go on to have a great career but it's just never worked out for him & had loads of injury problems.
Nailed on that he'll be returning to Germany, he missed games this season travelling to & from for family.

One thing that I feel is that if we were to get this window right and then the worst happens and we end up in L1 next season then we will have a team to absolutely blow that league away or make a few sales and just buy the rest of the division.

A couple of years back at this level really changes things.

Ha maybe, although your team has just massively underperformed based on this logic, so how many clubs are in for these players? And you’ve bloated your wage bill with these underachievers.

Often thought our fans held us back. I've sat there many times thinking 'who would actually want to play for these people?'

Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

I remember Walsall at Home in L1. Great game, two sides near the top of the table, Sawyers taking the piss. We conceded for a draw late on and folks booed at the final whistle. I normally bite my lip but lost it - shouted that "If you're booing that, you're not a football fan. Don't f*cking come back." Could not believe people could be that thick. Oddly didn't get any bites back which is good 'cause I can't fight for sh*t.

Fan unity, home and away, has mainly been excellent for the last few years. I know winning helps but I’ve always looked forward to the atmosphere at games win lose or draw.

Hopefully those of us that have been doing it keep it going and those that are new or returning get involved.

It's a pet hate sitting supporting the team and you get sat to a moaner who does the opposite and slag players off before now I've told moaners to support the team before telling them to do one.I hope most people realize what they've missed and support the team.

Incensed on a number of occasions in the title winning season when a few fans came back who had no idea how we played from the back, patient passing, looking to score right to the end of games. People shouting stop pissing around at the back and fling it forward. Luckily we kept scoring late goals and winning games.

If we had DeBruyne they would complain about his square passes.

I remember the home game vs MK Dons last season where McCallum scored that belter in the first minute & we drew 1-1.

A guy behind me lambasted McCallum constantly all game as "fucking useless" & he'd "Done nothing all game"... I'd like to think he arrived late but, with our fans, nothing surprises me.

Nixon confirming we are after Christian Walton.. however wages are a stumbling block
You’d make him one of the highest players but we can’t go down the route of over spending again. Such a shame we can’t invest a little more with a plan to review after a period of time but it’s not my money

Walton be a good signing for sure. If we could move on Marosi it would mean we can offer him decent wages.

Nixon also reporting chelsea are letting Luke McCormick go on a free with a sell on clause built into the contract, he’d be a decent AM. Looked good at Bristol rovers.
