Midfield is definitely lacking. Wouldn’t be as bad if it was just one of Allen or Eccles, but both could essentially mean a one man midfield. Equally maybe Eccles shows he’s a footballer today and him and Sheaf can use the ball well.

Regardless Allen at 10 negates any creativity, coupled with an anonymous Godden isn’t inspiring confidence.

Draw would be a good result.

He doesn't trust him when we havent got the ball. He played ok last week, did well when he got on the ball, but was often stood far too high leaving Sheaf and Allen to cover the whole of the midfield which is partly why they had so much possession and dominated first half.

Personally I would have played him, and gone with the box.

At first glance that midfield looks devoid of creativity and weak as piss. But, prior to this season, Eccles looked a real prospect whenever he played so

The team doesn't look that strong, particularly in midfield, but at the same time there's no really much you could argue should be changed with the players available, Palmer in for Eccles being the only obvious one. Just highlights the lack of depth in the squad.
