The defence have done well and everyone has dug in. Surprised at DaCosta he’s actually a decent defender, looked a pure attacker first couple of appearances. But going forwards it’s been a bit like pulling teeth. Happy overall though.

Actually though he was better against Norwich than he was today. Sometimes looks mobile and like he could be a classy target man. Others he looks the slowest player on the pitch. Still early days though.

Well that was shite. They’re miles better than us but no excuse for some of the errors. COH and Hamer having their worst games for the club. Allen pointless. Wilson flapping like Lee Burge. Defence terrified. And as for McFadz... just dreadful to gift them that after all the fuck ups recently...

I agree with that too mate. Can’t comment on whether he is a lone forward at Pboro or was at Bristol but certainly he is the main man and they play to his strengths. But for sure starting every game will be a factor too. Think he got 5 or 6 for us in 18 or so starts so certainly not prolific...

Starting week in week out since he left us will have done wonders for his form tbf. He’d be ideal for us when playing one up top in place of Max. Far too good a player to be third choice here though.

Plenty of battle in the three games prior.

Said player would also need to accept he may be sat on the bench after a few weeks when one or both of the first choice strikers return from injury.

I mean if we hadn’t brought in James then Shipley may have been starting in central midfield these last two games.

Hopefully with Walker (our marquee striker signing lest we forget) up and running the window activity becomes a non issue.
