    43 years ago today

Never been a player to replicate the class that Beckenbaur oused. The manner in which he controlled the back line, had so much time on the ball, brought the ball out of his own half and set up play was phenomenal.

    New protest idea!

As you're probably aware of his condition that's a pretty sick suggestion.

Taken from GMK.....What's your opinion of

It comes to something when you have to travel across the width of the Atlantic to live in order to avoid the temptation of visiting Sixfields! Credit to you Sir;):claping hands:

    robbins on talk sport now.

Mcgoldrick was the most exciting player to play for the City in years, every time he received the ball there was always a sense of anticipation that he would score. I believe he excelled because he had a point to prove to his doubters and he was a class above league one standard.

Hope that you're able to get a legal link as I'm told the working conditions in those Siberian salt mines aren't too clever.;)

    Hull Next?

All of this talk about leaving Highfield Road, wasn't it a case that we didn't own the freehold and the lease had expired?

Coleman for the palace job :

Strangely enough it sounds like he got divorced as he is now engaged to Sky Sports presenter Charlotte Jackson.

Coleman for the palace job :

I seem to remember a few years ago a Sun reporter stopped Coleman on his arrival at the training ground and told him his wife had had his car bugged as she was suspicious he was having an affair. The look on Coleman's face was priceless. Nice bloke though...................

    Half season ticket.

I'd be definitely be in line for a ST along with three others but don't get your hopes up lads it aint gonna happen. SISU wont return under a rent agreement and the council wont sell them the freehold so basically nothing's gonna change sadly. I remain fearful of the club's future.

Coleman for the palace job :

Wont be long, from one poison chalice to another it would seem. Must make a fortune from compo payments.

How on earth can The Ricoh survive?

Perhaps ACL know something and are not letting on. Oh, on second thoughts..................:thinking about:
  14. S

    Now we're getting somewhere...

Tosh tosh tosh tosh tosh, SISU will never get a chance to pick up the Ricoh for a few bob so your 30 years experience in the industry counts for nothing. I'll stick to my usual financial adviser thanks.;)

When the players go in January......

There are still a few players on fairly hefty wages I would imagine and based on revenue streams of 2000 crowds I doubt that it will support much of the current wage bill.

    Jordan Clarke

Yes, but just think what a brilliant player Jordan Clarke under the guidance of our previous esteemed manager Andy Thorn.

When the players go in January......

I can see Christie going in the January window as I believe him to be one of our most sale-able assets and we have more than good enough cover in Philips and Willis as they have recently demonstrated. SISU will be looking to capitalise on any possible revenue they can get their grubby hands on...

    Buzzing

Yes, it would be interesting to see what the Ricoh attendances would be when the team is in their current form. I would suggest 15,000 at the moment but approaching 18-20000 if we were in a play off place. Sadly this is something we'll never get to know but also wonder how many are likely to...

    Walsall match thread

Driving home from the match this evening and could only pick up Radio WM and they interviewed Dean Smith. Couldn't believe my ears when he said that apart from the first twenty minutes Walsall controlled the match or words to that effect. Was he at the same game or just making excuses for his...
