When they announce the Ricoh deal who's going?

The reason why they would be of a mind to liquidate is that there virtually no assets to sell and by continuing to fund of the club in the long term will inevitably cost them even more money. I'm sorry to say that liquidation makes perfect sense by cutting their losses now.

Hi mates, a CCFC fan from Italy

I'm told that the name Fiat was derived,, due to their cars unsurpassed reliability, after the words "Fix It Again Tony"?

When they announce the Ricoh deal who's going?

Buster, I think 20000 punters is a bit optimistic to be honest but I hear what you say. However I don't believe that SISU will go back on their word that they wont be returning unless a purchase of the Ricoh is on the cards. I think they would rather liquidate us out of spite than return under a...

When they announce the Ricoh deal who's going?

I took these questions to be rhetorical as there is not a cat in hells chance that we shall be returning to the Ricoh unless the council agrees a sale to SISU which it wont. However I will renew my season ticket without question if the impossible were to happen.

In fairness to Barton maybe that horrific injury he suffered prior to him joining us has affected him. Seem to remember Liverpool sniffing around poised with a sizeable bid prior his injury. Let's hope that he can put it behind him and show us his true potential as he is going to be needed as...

any one remember cornflakes from Leamington

I overheard Juggy on one of his regular phone ins after a game and instantly recognised his voice. Had a chat with him and agreed nice guy and passionate about the club.

I would never boo any Sky Blue player whatever inept performance they might have put in. However we do as fans expect every player to put in 100% effort on the pitch. Bardon has not as yet displayed any sort of commitment and failed to show what potential he may have to us fans which doesn't...

Barton - Some wonderful cross-field balls but needs too much time on the ball. I like him, but Fleck is better. Tarquin me ole mate, I think that those wonderful cross-field were mainly caused by a gust of wind. Seem to remember a shot of his in the first half actually led to a throw in...

    AFC Wimbledon Match Thread

Don't know whether this has been commented on earlier in the thread but piss poor management by Ardley allowing his players to turn up for the game so close to kick off. I would have thought midday for an evening kick off would seem the norm in order to prepare the team appropriately. Ardley...

    Joy meets ann

I've heard that Ann took her camera with her so that she could sell a photo of Joy to the highest bidder. However Joy was wise to the scam by turning up for the meeting in a burka.:pointlaugh:

Went into raptures when Wimbledon scored but was pretty low key when we hit the net.

Barton was our weak link tonight and lived up to his Mr Anonymous tag. For a 6'3" player he doesn't seem to have the ability to head the ball, his tackling is non existent. He has a sweet boot when he has time on the ball but at this level those opportunities are rare. I really think he needs...

I too love Bobby Gould for his passion and believe him to be a very genuine bloke however he did seem to overdo his celebration of the Wimbledon goal.

    The fa cup

Don't understand you're comment regarding surviving in league one as everyone knows we're heading for automatic promotion! As for the FA Cup it seems that there has been recent disinterest by the top clubs who are more concerned with the rich pickings available from European football. The FA...

Will A Deal Be Done Before Next Season?

No realistic chance of a resolution IMHO and the same goes for a new ground. As for the future, it's anyone's guess but liquidation a real possibility and I'm normally an optimist!

    Newcastle after Wilson

I think it's more to do with Ashley wanting a 'Cockney Confidant'. I seem to remember Wisey was appointed director of football on a salary of 1.5m and rarely set foot in Newcastle. Perhaps Ashley just doesn't trust northerners for some reason?
