    South Stand home end?

When the Ricoh first opened, most of the West End lot congregated in the upper part of the Telegraph (north?) stand. However there was a concerted effort from club/security/police to get everyone to sit..... unfortunately due to the size of the stand, there were a lot of "normal" fans mixed in...

    Running

Its a rock-hard track. Its designed for sprinters and wheelchair racing. So although it is "quick" it is not particularly forgiving on the legs for us endurance runners. I occasionally go across to Nuneaton and pay a few quid to do a session there.... their track is much kinder on the legs.

    Running

It depends on the times and days. In theory, unless you are a University student, or a Godiva member, you are supposed to go through the track reception and pay..... but i suspect it isn't particularly well enforced. However tuesday/thursday evening between about 5 - 8:30 are exclusively...

    Running

While City were edging towards promotion, the real action was happening at Sutton Coldfield with the National 12-Stage Road Relays. The top 25 clubs from each of the North/Midlands/South battling it out over 12 legs of 5.5km for supremacy. 1st Bristol & West 2nd Tonbridge AC 3rd Cambridge &...

    Old Coventry Amateur Team

The only minor clue is that Massey Ferguson (running/athletics) share the same top..... Red/White quarters. I don't know how long Massey's have been a feature in the City, but the running club didn't form until 1977 though.

    WE ARE PREMIER LEAGUE!

Ipswich finish strong, and we draw 2 or 3 of our remaining games. Not beyond the realms of possibility.

    WE ARE PREMIER LEAGUE!

I'm not saying that beating Wolves was bigger..... i'm saying it can't have such a huge euphoric impact as its been coming over 3/4 of a season, rather than just one 90 minute game. You can see it on here daily..... everyone is wanting that "moment" where its sealed.... but we're not really...

    WE ARE PREMIER LEAGUE!

Its because its been coming for many months and has been expected. There's absolutely no way its going to carry the same euphoria as, say, beating Wolves in injury time to get to Wembley. Its more a sense of relief that its done. I do think Ipswich may well beat us to the title (and to be...

Where were you when we were.....

Mate on my whatsapp supported LIverpool 5 years ago. Now supports city and is moaning about people "jumping on the bandwagon". Oh yeah he also supported Wasps before us.

Who do you want in our first hime game next season?

Agree with this. Momentum is massive..... granted Sunderland spent loads and it paid off.... but its still small margins and a quick start transformed them. Would fancy Sunderland at home actually. Bit of needle there, and would like to think its winnable.

Is Promotion Bigger Than the FA Cup Win?

Agree 100% with this. At the time (and i was very young), winning the Cup seemed on a par with winning the league. In the history of CCFC, for that reason, i'd say the cup is bigger..... but nowadays due to diminished standing of the cup, promotion is probably bigger.
