I'm not saying that beating Wolves was bigger..... i'm saying it can't have such a huge euphoric impact as its been coming over 3/4 of a season, rather than just one 90 minute game.

You can see it on here daily..... everyone is wanting that "moment" where its sealed.... but we're not really going to get that..... it was more or less done a couple of weeks ago..... today its done (but not mathematically).

As for not being bothered whether we win the league or not.... i stand by that..... fantastic if we do, but is anyone going to call this a "bad season" if Ipswich finish above us? Who cares.
What scenario can you see that makes you think Ipswich finish above us

There's an important trophy and a permanent place in the record books up for grabs. So yes I care, and it will mean at least as much to me as progressing to the Prem (which let's be honest has turned out to be just a short-lived nightmare for some clubs).

Not the best day of my City supporting life.

Not the worst day of my City supporting life.

Definitely the weirdest day of my City supporting life.

I was home contemplating the dropping of two points, watching the results come in rather lethargically wondering when it would actually happen...Then Chaplin scored.

I'm somewhat drunk now.

It's done.
We know it's done.
We don't need the P.
It's done.

Bed for me now. I'm also done.

Should be Barclays Division One

One of my earliest football memories is that being said (Barclays League Division One) in the posh Grandstand classified results voice. That and the vidiprinter noise.

Out of curiosity, what was the best day?

I’m happy to save the big celebrations until we lift the Championship trophy. I’m confident Lampard will get the boys scoring and winning again. Quite a bit of pressure has now been removed and we should all enjoy these last 4 games.

What I do hope happens on Monday morning is for Doug to leave Deano a memo saying full steam ahead on Prem recruitment, we have £100m+ to spend …..

One six o five one nine eight seven.

What's your's?

My worst, before you ask, is impossible to solidify to a single day. Just the slow creeping dread of the SISU years. If I had to pick a date it would probably be something to do with Wasps.

Irony of ironies that Conor Chaplin confirms our promotion after a very poor performance from us. As Jimmy Greaves would say... "Footballs a funny old game"
