Richardson signed Keane. Nice investment for his mates that one, 115% return over a year. Not sure who the mates were but have my suspicions.

Six clean sheets is promotion material

Isn't Pressley saying what you're saying? That 6 clean sheets is promotion material but only if you're scoring at the other end. The constant Pressley baiting on here is tedious. (Admittedly as are many other topics!)

Back in court - July 7

Probably longer. It's 18 months since the first JR application. (Edited as my dates were mixed up) Sisu's continued ownership of the club is only now a means to get to court.

Bob Ainsworth on ACL sale to Wasps

Indeed. You might even end up with the Student Grant who acts as the council finance member. Using his experience as a student to manage a multi million pound budget.

Bob Ainsworth on ACL sale to Wasps

Bob says no intent to sell before 12/13. Contradicts the nonsense in court about a long term interest as a shareholder once again.

Bob Ainsworth on ACL sale to Wasps

If the deal is clearly in the public interest surely the council will have no qualms in disclosing the detail.

Championship Midfielder in on loan tomorrow?

They do live beyond their means (as in their income). £15.3m loss for 2012-13.

Championship Midfielder in on loan tomorrow?

He wasn't exactly prolific there, was he?

Chuckling to myself here. One of 12 brilliant shows.

That's a fair point, most disappointing was selling Aloisi to bring in Hughes. Bellamy was the right player, wrong time and Hartson was signed too late. Hindsight as you say is a wonderful thing.

Did Strachan not know about the clause in Dublin's contract? Luckily he wasn't allowed to waste £6.5m on Bellamy and then £5m on Hughes

    pictures of highfield road

The Telegraph's recent series of 'On This Day' pics has some great pictures with HR as the backdrop. Particularly the West Ham league cup semi (36k attendance) and Derby 4th round in '74 I think (reported as 41k but might be less).

Utter nonsense. The £6m we paid for Keane, for example, wasn't bettered by our peer clubs for years after, if indeed it was.

Under-21s coach Darren Murray has left the club

Eddie Howe is so middle class. Rough and ready Burnley didn't suit him. "What the fuck is humous, lad?"

Ignoring the fact that we were effectively relegated in his first season and only a points deduction for Middlesbrough kept us up. The actual relegation season was even worse. He spent comparative fortunes to achieve very little.

    Che Adams- Sheffield Utd

Listened to Radio 5's unbelievably patronising coverage last night. It was unthinkable that Sheffield Utd had the brass neck to score against Premier League opposition. What's more, the scorer was young, English and they'd never heard of him but he could still score against the mighty Spurs.
