    Ann lucas wins

I wasn't calling you a wet blanket to win an argument - it was merely an observation.

    Ann lucas wins

The club is a ratepayer like anybody else

The desire for public accountability isn't sympathy with SISU.

Championing domestic violence? Doesn't sound so laudable to me

Possibly some form of creative accounting from Mike Ashley.

    Ann lucas wins

Are you saying that a statement in an interview with local media carries more weight than the direct letter from JS to AL written last November. You know, the one where JS did say that SISU would consider a long lease? Has anybody got a link to one interview were a return to the Ricoh is...

    Ann lucas wins

What an absolute wet blanket you really are.

    Ann lucas wins

And in fairness to Lucas she can be voted out. Same can't be said for the officers of the council who provide advice and information to councillors.

    Ann lucas wins

That's what democracy is all about. Local politicians should be able to take criticism. They have after all put themselves forward.

    fixfootball

Realistically football in this country is finished. The biggest single problem is the Sky deal and the cash that comes with it. SISU are a symptom of this problem. The government are in thrall to the Murdoch media, imagine a proposal to fix football by merging the Premier League and the...

Any update on tonight's meeting ?

The constant talk of a phoenix club is like the "we'll pack every away end this season" talk from last season. It's based on the idea that CCFC has a massive hardcore of committed fans which they do not. Look at the pathetic gates this season, cue excuses about not paying for court cases etc.

Cheers. It's bizarre really. Agents are completely superfluous in my world. Parasites.

    RATINGS v Rochdale ??

Their number 24 was more like Fleck should be. He's just too slow and physically not up to it. In fact I'd say mentally he's not up to it either. Thomas should have been introduced early in the 2nd half. Barton would start ahead of Fleck, better passing range and looks forward.

    Rochdale Match Thread

"Sounds like" you should be up here. Two excellent goals. Fleck and Finch are too deep. They seem to be using the Rugby 22 yard line as a guide to where they play.

Bob Ainsworth on ACL sale to Wasps

And some are obsessed with trying to defend them. Ignore SISU for a minute and remember that the council has transplanted a London Rugby team into a City that already has one.

Championship Midfielder in on loan tomorrow?

Indeed. Better gates than the mighty Coventry City.

Bob Ainsworth on ACL sale to Wasps

The local labour party are closing ranks to protect Ann Lucas. The guff about the fact that Lucas and Mutton don't get on but voted the same way is contemptuous.

Bob Ainsworth on ACL sale to Wasps

Indeed. The council were to be repaid the loan by the old ACL. It's repaying a debt.
