Hope you're happy, Torchy, Grenduffy, etc

The case is not about whether or not SISU were forced out. It's whether or not the financial support provided to ACL was legal state aid or not. The judge in the first hearing legitimised the state aid because of ACL being put under financial duress by SISU and the council was protecting its...

    Our Midfield

Fleck has never convinced me. No more so than Thomas. Thomas' best attribute is his positional play and reading of the game, I wouldn't write him off just yet.

Perhaps better to write a headline that reflects what the story is, Simon.

    Is it safe

Truce from midnight until the next appeal I think. The pro council brigade propaganda machine has got a campaign to prepare.

Italia. The judges today appear not to be questioning the evidence, they're questioning the basis of the judgement against the legislation. That can be done in 20 minutes as they'll have already had the judgement to consider

We won't have paid a fee as it's all being wasted in court according to those in the know.

The judges today appear to have completely dismantled the defence of 'protecting a public asset'. The appeal will be interesting. Not sure why the NOPM brigade are jumping on it s their latest excuse.

Don't cry about it. They merely to l get to appeal, once again a thick, knee-jerk idiot like you is ta only reading the headlines. Personally, I couldn't give a fuck about Coventry City Chuck, I'd the appeal is successful they'll be able to use the mountains of Greater Birmingham cash they're...

    If SISU won compensation...

I made this point about the council's position as freeholder a number of times, good to see two judges see it too. I can't see a big compensation payout mind you. Even if SISU win, they'd have to demonstrate considerable losses you'd imagine.

Are you any more an expert in judicial reviews than Tim Fisher? In fairness to him he's stating the grounds on which the appeal is being made

I'll get it in first "As that the level we're at? Using the same franchise as Southend and Orient? Bloody depressing"

    It's all about the Taxpayer

The £195m deal is a meaningless headline. It's heart-warming to know that the community asset is owned by a Maltese hedge fund and indebted to a number of faceless bond holders. If that wasn't enough it's the home of a franchise rugby team and its catering functions are run by a company who...

New kit announced in the coming days

Not forgetting that the Sky Blues is only less than half of the CCFC story. I like the new kit. 87-91 were probably the most stable years for City wearing stripes and navy shorts.
