Supporters' group tells Coventry City FC owners to clarify stadium plans

Aye. Every seat at HR was replaced in the 90s as well. Wonder if the club got preferential pricing?

Yes but if you add all those costs in the Ricoh was 3 times as much. The £35m would probably include purchase and clearing the site.

It's nearly twice as much. Granted the exhibition hall and excavation for underground casino would be high, it just seems not right to me. It's all a bit vague.

It was previously quoted (can't remember who) at approx £20m for the decontamination. It doesn't actually say it didn't cost that much as decontamination is lumped in with other costs. The build cost at even £60m is significantly higher than comparable stadia, Walkers Stadium was £35m.

Could we have a very different team for second half of the season ?

Turner has only played 3 times. It's not as if he's been a mainstay so far. Twitter suggesting Armstrong is here for the season.

The only defence I'll give of ACL is that they couldn't afford it either. Their £21m mortgage meant they needed income. The whole thing was donned from the off. You have to question why such a cheaply finished stadium cost £118m.

No. There was a built in escalator. It would have gone up to circa £1.9m.

Indeed. Imagine seeing property costs of £1.2m + additional matchday costs and a built in escalator to increase it on promotion. In return they got none of the income generated from their presence.

Happened long ago amongst the working class. Calling your mate a c**t lost all sense on insult many years ago.

Shef Utd v Cov on Sky

I disagree, it's pretty good considering they've only just gone on general sale. Anything over 1k is good. I went there last season and think it was under 1k for a Saturday 3pm KO, might be wrong though.

Who wouldn't want to play for Celtic. One of the biggest clubs in Britain ffs.

This time three years ago we were on a 10 game unbeaten run under Robins. The home gates were still less than the average now. The highest gate was 14k vs Shrewsbury on New Year's Day

Do CCFC hold the biggest recorded away attendance in England?

    They haven't. Middlesbrough got close.
