    Gillingham (Home) Match Thread

Regardless they're not worth a big gate in the third tier

    Gillingham (Home) Match Thread

So now it's not about the lack of a top 6 finish it's about the opposition. Funny that Gillingham were worthy of 27k last season but aren't this?

    Titus Bramble...

He's presumably local to Colchester. Didn't his brother play for them?

Involved in all 3 goals, looked like the player from early season.

    Colchester United (Away) Match Thread

Agreed, it's hard enough when we're defending a lead for 10 minutes.

Back to being the biggest club in Coventry?

CCFC were in administration when they moved to Northampton, so perhaps that was alright after all. Hypocritical clown.

Butts Park Arena is new home

Yes but it isn't inconceivable that you could pack a tiny terrace for a big game, only clubs manage ticket sales a lot better now. Terraces were never ever the problem though anyway

Butts Park Arena is new home

Hadn't thought of that. It's a bit hypocritical the approach to standing anyway. FC Utd's new ground contains a decent sized terrace, are non or lower league football fans immune to crush situations?

Butts Park Arena is new home

We won't have a long lease. We'll be tenants to the leaseholder. Sub-letting.

Butts Park Arena is new home

It'll never happen Toni. Not whilst SISU are here.

Butts Park Arena is new home

I like the idea but can't see it, but, if it does become a reality it would be great. The capacity is a bit small but then again our average gate is. Would definitely get behind such a scheme if it became a reality. Brilliant for a booze.

Where do you think the stadium site in Coventry might be?

Yep. The Ricoh itself is on the boundary.

Where do you think the stadium site in Coventry might be?

If I'm honest I'm open to something in the Coventry area within reason. Want a few pubs nearby and decent access by public transport.

Where do you think the stadium site in Coventry might be?

Isn't that the site of the new black cab factory? Quite appropriate for Wasps, London Taxis.

Where do you think the stadium site in Coventry might be?

I've mentioned before that Parkside was in the running back in the 90s. Of course the land there has subsequently been developed. Would have much preferred it there, much closer to the club's traditional home(s).

Call the stadium Greyfriars. We just need to put a tender out for a development partner now.

Market Way, Bullyard, City Arcade, Hertford St sort of area I think

Who did you get in the next round?

Still Division 3. The standard as I see it has remained about the same. The PL is in decline, you only have to watch Goal of the Month to see it. Or the complete lack of quality in some of the 'big matches' this season.
