Yes but it isn't inconceivable that you could pack a tiny terrace for a big game, only clubs manage ticket sales a lot better now. Terraces were never ever the problem though anyway
Hadn't thought of that. It's a bit hypocritical the approach to standing anyway. FC Utd's new ground contains a decent sized terrace, are non or lower league football fans immune to crush situations?
I like the idea but can't see it, but, if it does become a reality it would be great. The capacity is a bit small but then again our average gate is.

I've mentioned before that Parkside was in the running back in the 90s. Of course the land there has subsequently been developed. Would have much preferred it there, much closer to the club's traditional home(s).

The standard as I see it has remained about the same. The PL is in decline, you only have to watch Goal of the Month to see it. Or the complete lack of quality in some of the 'big matches' this season.
