Supporters' group tells Coventry City FC owners to clarify stadium plans

You forgot shit managers and if all else fails repeatedly saying that SISU were CCC's preferred bidder so at the end of the day it's still all CCC's fault. The last one is certainly gaining in popularity at the moment. I think it's replaced "l know SISU carry some of the blame but..." line...

Back to being the biggest club in Coventry?

    Same here. Especially Buzzcocks.

Supporters' group tells Coventry City FC owners to clarify stadium plans

Hahaha. You are a card. Wembley was over £750m (closer to £1000m in end I think) does that make the Ricoh good value for money then? (edit) just had google and apparently the final bill was £938M including infrastructure. That's 8.3 Ricoh's. Or if you prefer Wembley should have cost £333m...

Supporters' group tells Coventry City FC owners to clarify stadium plans

I thought we were talking about the build costs? Why are you changing the subject? At the end of the day the hotel, casino, exhibition hall etc were not chucked in for free. It wasn't buy one stadium build and get a hotel, casino and exhibition hall built for free. There was a cost to build...

Almost a decade previously. Also smaller capacity. Never been but does it have a hotel, casino, exhibition hall etc?

Supporters' group tells Coventry City FC owners to clarify stadium plans

Anybody involved with building the Walkers took a big hit. An electrician mate of mine was working for the electrical contractor and I believe it sent them under.

Supporters' group tells Coventry City FC owners to clarify stadium plans

Happy to be corrected but I was working alot in Leicester on various new build housing estates and I'm sure that the site had been levelled and cleared long before LCFC ever shown an interest in it. I remember driving past the site regularly for what seemed like the best part of a decade and...

Supporters' group tells Coventry City FC owners to clarify stadium plans

Wasn't the Walkers site purchased already cleared and ready to build on? Have a feeling it was.

Supporters' group tells Coventry City FC owners to clarify stadium plans

I meant his explanation of what the plan was in the first place not what actually happened. His explanation makes it sound so easy that it really is hard to see why it never happened as I said even if we mothballed what would have been our plot until a more stable time for the club. From what...

Supporters' group tells Coventry City FC owners to clarify stadium plans

I'd always take anything he had/has to say with a pinch of salt but you have to say he did have a long term vision for the club. Problem was without premier league status it fell down. The project should have either been abandoned on relegation or mothballed until we we'd stabilised. If the...

    365 Revenue at Chesterfield

Hedge fund in using someone else's money to invest with shocker. I'm sure Joy will be dipping into her own personal bank account to pay for a new stadium as she does with all SISU's investments.

Where have I defended them? I've not said they have helped have I? I asked what they said they were going to do to help. Big difference, huge.

Well I signed that petition and I'm sure I'm not the only one from on here who did or indeed the wider CCFC fan base and I've never ever been to a Wasps game ever and never will.

More than our average gate that's for sure. Lighten up will you. I only said it tongue in cheek anyway. Hence the two ;)

So you're saying the move to the Ricoh as a success then?

    365 Revenue at Chesterfield

2,972! Is that it? I bet half of them were you Nick and Grendull anyway ;) They've missed their september deadline as well. Still a year is a very narrow window to get 3000 to sign a petition ;)

Supporters' group tells Coventry City FC owners to clarify stadium plans

What the hell are you on about? He said Wasps had promised to do things to help CRFC when they arrived. All I'm doing is asking a question. I'll do a parody of you "what's wrong with asking a question?" I guess it depends on what question you're asking then.

So what did wasps say they were going to do to help CRFC?

Supporters' group tells Coventry City FC owners to clarify stadium plans

Well I'm not a member of the NOPM brigade so I don't count. I would also think that nearly all of the NOPM brigade have invested lots of money in CCFC until recently so have earned the right to moan. Unlike alot of those moaning about wasps not helping CRFC but do nothing to help CRFC...
