Back to being the biggest club in Coventry?

Another hotel. They might want to look at the vacancy rates at their own hotel or the Novotel. Or the lapsed planning permission for one on Rowleys Green Lane. Then again, stranger things...

    4-4-2

What have managers (Mowbray as well) got against this classic formation? Why have English managers sought to impose various versions of 4-5-1 on English teams and English players, particularly considering that most English players are schooled in playing 4-4-2 from a young age? It is completely...

    Luciano Becchio on trial

I can't help feeling that it's all a bit Darius Henderson again. I really thought Becchio was good for Leeds when I last saw him play, November 2010.

    Sunday league football

Most people can get a more enjoyable game of football playing on 4g pitches now with Goals, Power League etc. Also the fact pubs are continually closing won't or doesn't help matters.

    Saddest comedy sketch/scene

Spot on. The utter futility of the position of Blackadder, Baldrick and George was the theme of the show. Like you say, only Blackadder realised that fact.

    Saddest comedy sketch/scene

Agreed. Yes the scenes where Ken is clearly worried about her step dad are quite moving. Brilliant sitcom with warm, realistic characters. I got quite chuffed driving around Stockport recently, turned onto Birdhall Lane as referenced in the show.

I thought the fans were the club not just customers? This is where the protesters contradict themselves.

He's too slow to play that role. In fact he's just a bit too slow now in any role.

Not really. The odd mention but they're known as 'The Blues'.
