    Wasps & Council conspire again

I agree with you. Despite my absolute opposition to Wasps, they have played the game with the council, and seem to be doing things that meets theirs (and the council's) mutual objectives. SISU's lack of imagination beyond court cases looks amateur in comparison.

    Meeting planned for Wednesday!!

That's a bit simplistic, as it ignores the cost of paying academy graduates once they sign professional contracts. Some of the players who have come through have probably made a net loss (Clarke, C Thomas)

    Meeting planned for Wednesday!!

Positive and constructive, from CSF who really are only a bystander anyway!

Who actually owns our football club ?

Barking up the wrong tree, football clubs have been floating on the stock exchange for years.

An Open Letter To Eddie Jordan

I'm suspicious about his 'love' for the club. Do we know whether he was merely just another investor in one of those fancy schemes favoured by the previous board?

    Greyfriars Lane development

Nice idea. If they can make Pepper Lane into something better than a service area then good. I am a bit flummoxed about Greyfriars Lane though, it is a dead street with large blank walls, lighting schemes won't change that.

    Jimmy Hill Way

Yes, he is. Bitter twat. Some other knobhead on Twitter moaning about CCFC as well, the c**t was born in 1991.

If Wasps publicly declared they wanted to buy CCFC

The only thing is that next time the bond holders might want a better return due to a perceived increased risk. That said, at the minute it looks like they're doing OK.

    Wasps & Council conspire again

Read an article that stated a margin of 7% for a small house-builder and 11.7% for a large one, though read elsewhere that Barratts were looking at 40%. Though once permission is granted you might see Wasps sell the land on to an actual house-builder. I have no idea how much it would cost to...

Would you support a move to not renew season tickets next year

Indeed hobo, hence me qualifying the comment with "which is the problem". Despite selling a number of players and a cost cutting drive, the club still hasn't turned a profit. Like you say, opportunities have been missed, opportunities that are unlikely to ever re-present themselves.

Coventry City ground share with Coventry RFC at Butts Park Arena could be back on

....and the reason for that was the council forcing public debt onto a private company, i.e. the £21m lease premium which apparently paid for the stadium fit out

Petition SISU to sell the club

Where's the potentially huge fan base? You really must forget about one offs and think about what CCFC's fan base looks like over the last 30 years. It rarely achieved an average gate in excess of 20k, that is not a huge fan base. Low running costs and purchase price yes, but would need...
