The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

The problem is, that like all of the doom-laden articles, they seem to be written on the absolute assumption that: 1. Britain won't trade with the EU anymore 2. There will be significant tariffs on trade with the EU in any case That said, some of the points he's made are true. I'm a leave...

    Favourite UK Garage Songs

I don't know if it's on your list, but the only decent garage tune is Sincere by MJ Cole

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

While I voted, Britain needs to move towards being a net exporter, not just being able to import more cheap stuff. Move away from credit into added value.

Have we sold out for Wembley?

Sorry yes! In fact, we've not been in a semi final for just over a month, but you get the general gist of what I'm saying......

Have we sold out for Wembley?

In case you've missed it, we've been a third tier team for 5 years now and haven't been in the top flight for 16 years. Not been in a semi final for 27 years, not been to Wembley for 30. We need to live in the present, not the past. Whilst I don't think we're on the cusp of a revolution...

Anybody on True Coventarian on Facebook

Some interesting comments from Bob Ainsworth, demonstrating the contempt he has for his constituents. He apparently had to "put up" with people moaning about the EU. The poor lamb struggling by on an MP's pension now. Labour wonder why they're struggling.

Teachers: the Evil and Sadistic Ones

I can't really give a proper assessment of my teachers at schools, different looking at what they did through my eyes as an adult. I don't think there were any at Wiseman who weren't working to the best of their ability....

Deserved or out and out Pettiness ?

He's not blocked, they just don't follow him anymore, probably bored of his inane drivel.

    Oggy

Lloyd McGrath does a lot more for the grassroots football community in Coventry than Oggy ever has done.

    Oggy

I agree with you, would much rather those two considering their advancing years, rather than the alleged goalkeeping coach who is stealing a living from the club.

    Beers for Wembley

Any decent ale of which there are plenty in London, loads near Euston etc. I wouldn't drink Fosters pisswater if you paid me.

Butts Park Arena - put up or shut up !

READ THE REPORT YOU POSTED UP. The council borrowed £21m through the prudential borrowing scheme. It doesn't state anywhere in the report that the lease premium income was to cover the council's prudential borrowing / towards the build cost. To do so would surely value the lease on a false premise.

Butts Park Arena - put up or shut up !

This is what you're up against. The same clowns posting the same nonsense as fact despite the fact the evidence is publicly available. The unnecessary £21m lease premium is the main reason why the Arena failed. If it was £21m for 50 years, how much for 250?

Butts Park Arena - put up or shut up !

The 'most sensible' option of buying into ACL? It's even more indebted than it was in 2012. It still doesn't appear to be particularly profitable either. That said, the refinance of the bond in 2020 or whenever the time comes is right up a hedge fund like SISU's street, particularly if the...

    March from the Green man.

What does 1pm and 1.30pm symbolise? There is usually some silly gimmick attached. Or is the walk from the Green Man going to be timed at 34 minutes? For every mile between the Ricoh and Sixfields or some nonsense like that?

    Is 'Not going to Wembley'....

Deep thinking Tony is here again. Lighten up, it's a day at Wembley and you'll definitely regret it imo. Seeing a sea of sky blue and cheers as the teams come out, it'll be great despite the terrible season otherwise.
