Yes, it's his job to make saves not concede sloppy goals

He's not even a good shot stopper. He's a poor keeper who I feel shouldn't be at this level.

Yes, I really think it's important to not go down with a whimper and to try and build some resilience into the players for the summer and next season.

The Butts - CRFC Confirms it is willing to join mediation talks

Like I said pages ago, the fact the site has had permission for a stadium in the past is enough to suggest it could get such again (up to around 10K or so). It would need a new planning application of course but the fact that a previous one had been approved would support a new one. You do try...

The Butts - CRFC Confirms it is willing to join mediation talks

There might be something akin to ACL that is set up with CCFC and CRFC as joint shareholders (not sure whether that be 50:50 or not). Presumably that is where any investment (if it ever happens) would go to, though I would expect that to be in return for a long lease at peppercorn rent.

The Butts - CRFC Confirms it is willing to join mediation talks

I am not sure if it is really lapsed, the development began with the 3 year period. Either way, I would expect a different planning application to go in but the principle is there that in the past plans for a stadium have been passed. Looking at the objections, people seemed more bothered about...

The Butts - CRFC Confirms it is willing to join mediation talks

1997 - Coventry Crusaders (remember them) wanted to build their own venue on the site: http://planning.coventry.gov.uk/portal/servlets/AttachmentShowServlet?ImageName=10988

The Butts - CRFC Confirms it is willing to join mediation talks

Further to my last post, the plans are for a 10k capacity stadium, just spotted something in one of the objections. The file linked below contains some drawings: http://planning.coventry.gov.uk/portal/servlets/AttachmentShowServlet?ImageName=512044

The Butts - CRFC Confirms it is willing to join mediation talks

These are some earlier approved plans for the stadium on the site of the Butts: Coventry City Council: Planning Application Details Those plans approved 3 stands with no specified capacities, though the general form of the stands is on the application. Some interesting objections when read...

The Butts - CRFC Confirms it is willing to join mediation talks

It's a stadium and premises, it doesn't need planning approval to play football there. Christ, you really are a simpleton. Wasps didn't need planning permission to move to the Ricoh for example.

The Butts - CRFC Confirms it is willing to join mediation talks

I've seen the statement here a few times about the club somehow doing a deal with Wasps for a share of the non-football income. Can you please outline how that would work and fit in with Wasps' objectives?

    Mediation talks underway

They bailed nobody out. They wanted the stadium built as much as anybody to realise their own regeneration objectives.

Well he can pat himself on the back for the part his council played. Not just with Wasps but going right back before then.

    Academy ground share

Jesus christ Les, just write the story as it is without the 'signature' backstory. Hopefully CCFC get something sorted. Come to think of it, the old Wiseman playing fields / running track off Woodway Lane still hasn't been built on, has it? Would probably be space on there for a building and...
